I have had some commissions done for me of some Legion based characters. I hope this is the right place to post these. I am new and hesitant to offend. First I will start with the Green Lantern Mon-El with Dyogene. Now on to some of the most unsavory of characters (no offense but I am a hero kind of guy) but a must for my collection.

Wow! They look absolutely great. The Fatal Five ones in particular really bring out their defining traits. I'd be constantly checking that Mano one wasn't trying to get closer.

I have others I am having work on. Shvaughn Erin, Tyroc, Saturn Girl, Earth Man, etc. Here are some non-conversions on display in my Nerd Room. Oops the Supergirl is technically a conversion since that was not her original base.

Wow, these are awesome! I'm totally jealous!
Keep up with what I've been watching lately! "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

Wow! These are great! And Miss Liberty?!? Totally random but totally cool!
The only issue I've read her in was that issue of All Star Squadron she died in, but I always wanted to see more of her (and that era).

Thanks guys. I am working on a lot more of these. Many characters that never got they chance at some love. Here are some of my Marvel Liberty Legion conversions (Red Raven and Patriot in the works).

Love the Legion display. They look amazing. Form Brainy reaching for his force field belt to the quiet determination of Ferro Lad. I see that the animalistic version of Brin has been chosen. A much better choice than having his arms stick straight out in a "I am a Teenage Android" pose or the bust lying horizontally on the base in an "I am a Teenage Lotus Fruit Fiend" pose. The Liberty Legion. I 've not seen much of these guys at all. I think I got a couple of Invaders issues when I was a lot younger and then I'm relying on the Marvel Handbook. Great job in giving them another chance to shine. That's the Thin Man at the back isn't it? I only know of him through reading up on Elongated Man being DC's take on the Thin Man movies with a superhero twist. Timely clearly weren't so bothered about keeping some distance in the name. He strikes me as looking like a proto-Vision.

Yes Thin Man, Miss America, Whizzer, Jack Frost and Blue Diamond. All are from the Golden Age. As are Red Raven, who will be full size, and Patriot, a bust on a bell. Also have a Vigilante and JLA Dr. Light bust and another Marvel, a Golden Age Thomas Halloway Angel, done but waiting for clean up and paint.
I have been collecting statues for awhile now and have been outgrowing my surroundings with them and comic boxes. I have White Witch, Phantom Girl, Cosmic Boy also painted and not yet displayed. Karate Kid is in the works. Dawnstar is waiting her turn. I hope to have more.
Okay, I really want them all. TW, UB, PP, SL and WF are done so well by my painter. CB's base is him morphing from it. The picture hides that. The sculptor did a beautiful job on these. Dying to see my avatar done but it is not yet been available.
I have waited 50 years, oops, showed my age, not that I care, I can wait longer. Besides I have 7 long boxes of comics that I need to read to catch up. I have been a real slacker lately.
P.S. The Invaders are the shelf under my Legionnaires.

I didn't remember Jack Frost at all. I didn't think the Golden Age would have a Kid Zombie somehow. He certainly looks creepier than Iceman ever did. Looking at the Blue Diamond, I can't help but think of the Bronze Age Starman. I was looking at the Cham bust and it's pose. I thought it had a "Guess what I'm going to turn into look" about it. I was wondering if having some of him morph into a creature would work. But it would be a shame to have him limited to a single creature and he's distinctive enough by himself. Having him morph from the base is a great idea. I think there's even a story where he's disguised as the base of something too.

And there are tentacles too. So I think he is coming out to transition from whatever he was before to the character we know. As if surprising his foe.

Well, if you ever happen to be passing it by and just sort of have a camera to hand... It sounds very cool.

Beautiful display, J! It's great to see a variety of poses are used, not everbody face front at attention. Love your Fatal Five busts - do you also have the Empress and Tharok? That Validus would give me nightmares!

That Validus would give me nightmares! The guy I am using is working on Tharok now. Emerald Empress will be last to be completed, so in this case the lady did not go first but makes the dramatic exit. Then I move to Shvaughn Erin.

Beautiful display, J! It's great to see a variety of poses are used, not everbody face front at attention. It is impressive. The stoic determination of Mon-El, the "I can take on anything" look of Jo and Wildfire looking to blast something. Looking forward to seeing more.

I will see if I can get a pic of CB's base for you. Here is another piece, Plastic Man. In honor of his recent exclusion on the JSA++ Idol! (Round 7) thread.

A great use of the base there too. He's wacky and funny looking but that hand coming our gives him a warm, friendly feel too.

Oh, I found pic with my Cosmic Boy and Phantom Girl painted prior to their cramming into my other display cabinet. That is a Tomar Re kit as well.
