Another game with a Legion module. Okay, the Legion cards I aady bought last december just as a collectors item.

Now the game is published in Germany - the basic one with the JLA characters - and I guess it's time to ask if somebody here has any playing experience with it - the game per se and the Legion add-on in particular?

My personal experience with deck building games is that they tend to get more and more frustratkng with every new module, complicating the fun you had with the basic game. I would like to play the game with my 7 year old daugther who as I told here is into the Legion. German age recommendation is 8+. What do you think?

Kind of looking forward to playing it, hoping to get a first look at it at Germanys largest comic conventio in Erlangen tomorrow... smile

I've not got this. Probably because I find that with more releases come more complexity to the point that the fun goes out of it. I still might pick it up just because of the Legion links though, so would be interested in finding out more too.

So to answer my own question: We finally got it yesterday, and I was amazed how quickly my daugther got into the game mechanics and knew how to use all those cards after just explaining it once or twice.

The game actually is a whole lot of fun (basic deck with the new 52 Justice League) easy to learn, lots of interesting cards with cool effects. Really worth the money (somehow, it's a lot cheaper in the German version than in the original, for whatever reason that is).

I really do recommend this game to people who want to get into Deck Building Games. It's fun!
