Sir Tim Drake Active S Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 559 Providence, RI	In the medieval Welsh narrative "Culhwch and Olwen," which is one of the earliest surviving stories about King Arthur, there is a brief mention of a character named Sugyn the son of Sugnedydd. His name translates as Suck son of Sucker. He is said to be able to "suck up the sea on which were three hundred ships, so as to leave nothing but a dry strand." Utgard-loki, a giant trickster, once challenged Thor to drain a horn of mead, and mocked Thor for failing to do so, since he had magically connected the horn to the oceans, so that Thor was trying to drain the seas. He tried so mightily to drain the horn that he created the tides! Yeah, there's something to brag about with the other gods. "Yeah, I was so blotto, I tried to drink the entire ocean!"
