I think this clearly puts the Ending of the Threeboot in a Post-LO3W timeframe. Presumably the team is pulled out of the book right around now and comes back pretty much in tact (and if we see members missing or altered in the next few issues we know who gets it in LO3W). There's too much that it seems won't be status quo by series end with the Threebooters (Cos still missing, Jeckie not a villain, Seemingly no dead member). This is at least a good sign that a wholesale slaughter isn't upon us in LO3W.

Or it could just mean that DC's left hand and right hand are working independently.

I think this clearly puts the Ending of the Threeboot in a Post-LO3W timeframe I don't think there is anything to suggest that. I suspect Lo3W picks up after #50

I suspect Lo3W picks up after #50 I base it on what we know about the events leading up to the end of the Threeboot: 1) Cos comes back 2) A Longtime Member dies 3) Projectra's turned into a villain. Since Cos isn't in the LO3W appearance and Projectra is, the only way this could happen after #50 is if Cos is the member who bites it AND Projectra is redeemed. I think it's unlikely they'll bring Cos back just to off him or send him away again and I somehow doubt Jeckie redeems herself and stays with the team (in fact I suspect she'll be the dead one when all this is over). It's much easier to assume that LO3W happens "now" (or probably just before LU and Val left), and they come back for the finish of the series (probably with no memories of events).

I've always found Projectra's power redundant considering Saturn Girl could pretty much duplicate her powers if she wanted to. Having Imra mess with other people's minds and making them see what she wants them to see is essentially all Jeckie does; so if this incarnation of Projectra gets shipped off to Shanghalla this issue, I wouldn't mind. The true Jeckie will always be Sensor Girl for me.

Or is that idea include all of the boots or what? This is about as confused as I've ever been with the Legion. I just want Umbra, Gates, Mon El and XS back. Could we do that? Ummmm?

Where does the idea that Projectra becomes a villain come from. Have I missed something?

[/b]In hindsight, I thought Kid Quantum I's early demise actually served a lot of storytelling purpose: - reason for the Legion's rule in having only members with intrinsic powers - added a nice dynamic (while he lived) in terms of his interactions with Leviathan - added gravitas to Leviathan's evolution as a member and field leader - added weight to Kid Quantum II/Jazmin's rationale for following in his footsteps & even undergoing a procedure to "internalize" her powers

It also followed the history of the revised post TMK #4 Legion continuity and set-up potential future stories with Proty, Antares, Glorith, etc., should the Reboot ever have chosen to go down that path (which it did not). That's why I figured they put it in there.

The actual quote:

[/b]A female character who's lost her mind and who spread chaos around her and threatens to destroy her team while nobody realizes she's mad... where have I seen that already?

I thought that was Sun Boy...which (on the cover) are you referring to as Element Lad? Originally posted by Blockade Boy: In what version have we ever seen E lad leading the charge?
I love this cover.
Significance of the bridge or just a nice place to pose the combatants?

[/b]Yes, but KQI wasn't just introduced in 3boot. He was part of the team before, or if not part of the actual team he was part of a couple of story arcs. I'll have to go home and try to look it up. (Not that I need to change your mind about 3boot, I'm just like to try and keep things straight in my mind.)

Heh, true. But now a new point (maybe already made?). I wasn't here for most of Waid's run but wasn't Sunboy elsewhere? And that's Giselle fighting along side Legion, right? Cool.

So, Cos comes back, longtime Legionnaire dies, and the Universal Annihilation War ends.
That's probably given the fact that the 3boot Legion's adventures ended the same time as they participated in Legion of 3 Worlds. My guess is it did not. Again, time travel is a variable here, so it could happen anytime during the MASH (Manapul and Shooter handled) run.
I would venture to say that Cosmic Boy does not die when he comes back from the 41st century, along with Karate Kid and Triplicate Girl, and Princess Projectra dies. I just hope Terror Firma and/or the Wanderers are involved in issue #50.
How many times do I have to die?!?

A WORD TO THE WISE!
Looking at DC's solicitations for December and January, yes they are goofed up. HOWEVER there is a preview listed for LO3W #3.
DON'T CLICK IT! I tried 3 times in 2 days-I'm a slow learner. It locked my computer down completely every time, and I have a high speed connection.
Long Live all them Legions!
