It's not actually a bad idea.... though given that he shops at the same clothing store as Destiny... ;-)

That's a really cool idea Rob, wish I'd thought of it first as there could be a great fan fic about a 'family' reunion there.

Rumour has it that the Book of Destiny will next appear as a kindle.

You could easily imagine him being Destiny, just waiting at the very end for his sister. Perhaps by then, with no time to actually have a destiny he's lost the concept of who he is. The Trapper is a final, futile attempt by Destiny to reclaim an identity he has lost.

First comic books ever bought: A DC four-for-47-cents grab bag that included Adventure #331. The rest is history.

"Time" was revealed as the father of all the Endless in the latest issue of Sandman: Overture ("Night" is their mother).

Chicks dig those massive purple robes. That's what some of the Trappers round here tell me anyway.

Is Overture any good? I've still not bothered with the first issue.

It's good, but with the first issue having come out in October 2013 and the final issue coming out this month, I've found it a little hard to maintain my enthusiasm.

When I started the thread, I was thinking of the Trapper as the Levitz/Giffen/Newell embodiment of entropy.

Fuchsia. The Time Trapper's robes are fuchsia.

I don't think the joke would have worked if I'd gone with fuschia though... smile

He lives in a barren wasteland, devoid of anything. He's not going to know between shades wink

Glorith makes a mention of the Endless in Adventure Comics #524.

With her temporal based mystical powers, it connects the novice Glorith to the Time Trapper, The other Glorith who ended up becoming the Time Trapper, and the Sandman's Endless through Time.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Trapper might be considered an aspect of one of the Endless. Wasn't there a thing where they said, like, all the different deities and gods who represent death and destruction and desire and dreams were all aspects of the Endless?

I bet all the deities say that smile

"Oh yeah, despair's an avatar of that guy in our pantheon over there and dream, well that's just a representation of her over there..."
