LEGION WORLD HAS SPOKEN. And it has said quite loudly that it likes giant shoulder-pads and huge flop-overy leg boots! Just wait for the Blok one for squeals. This is super tough. I really liked the original Sensor Girl's look (once I got past the mask) & colour scheme. But the colour scheme of the Magic Wars one is something unique and it's very nice too. The mask is even more eerie, which suits the character. Where the first was your more dynamic royal look, the second has a combination of controlled regal aggression. But can Magic Jeckie actually move well in that asymmetrical (I was going to say "cape on the side" thanks Raz ) outfit? The whole outfit looks to restrict movement down one side, so it's not the most practical outfit, even if it is just an illusion. So, I'm...UNDECIDED!

It is kind of cool that Costume Face-Off is having it's first battle of two costumes that totally cover the face. I heard that the winner of this round goes up against Mask Man next!

Original Sensor Girl. I totally hated all of Giffen's costume changes for the Legionnaires in Magic Wars.

I don't think all of the Magic Wars costumes were terrible, as I did enjoy the Element Lad costume, even if I vastly preferred his Bierbaum designed pink and black one.

I loved the style of the Magic Wars costumes, if not all of the details. I mean, really, wearing fur in the 30th century?

It was Faux Fur.
The Faux is a none too agile creature found on the fourth planet around Aldebaran.

The green one is okay, but I feel that the pink/black one is more faithful to his original Adventure era design.

I think we was trying to imply that people wanted the "nothing" option.

Isn't the nothing option just a naked Element Lad? Or does a birthday suit count Still torn over which Jecks costume to pick...

I echo many of the sentiments already expressed here regarding both costumes. This isn't an easy one for me. I like the blank facemask on Giffen's and it is one of the few redesigns from that era that I actually liked. And those shoulder pads on lightle's design can look a bit silly at times ...
BUT ultimately, I have to go for the Lightle costume! It's a cleaner design and ultimately more striking for a super-hero. (nothing against asymmetry, but there's a little too much going on in Giffen's version)

I loves em both but I'm gonna vote for Magic Wars Jeckie just because it's a more unconventional costume. I really love how asymmetrical it is and that cape on one side. Agreed totally about the cape on one side!

Hmm... what's left for Jeckie costumes? The retroboot designs (ick!)? The one-shot fan-designed costume from the 70s?

I liked her hair and robes in the 5YL Zombies and Mordru issues.
Plus she chucked Karate Kid into a fire IIRC.

Then there's her neck cracking torn rose tunic outfit from the LSV Baxter issues.

Yeah, umm, original Sensor Girl trounced all comers, so I'd bet none of her one-off outfits have a chance. Let's not waste that time. LEGION WORLD HAS SPOKEN AND LEGION WORLD LOVES SUPER-HEROINES IN SHOULDER PADS!!!

Number Five and Number Eight. The longer her hair is, the more I like her overall look.
