One of my all time favorite fantasy authors, Sir Terry Pratchett, has passed away at the age of 66 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. BBC News article. His Discworld series is a must read for anyone who has never had the pleasure of experiencing his work. May he Rest in Peace.

It's a bummer. Alzheimer's sucks.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.
Keep up with what I've been watching lately! "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

Very sad news I had the pleasure of meeting him in a hotel bar about 15 years ago and we spoke about being stuck in jobs that didn't fulfil our creative urges. He told a funny story that the most creative job he ever had was writing press releases for the nuclear industry. I hope he's still out there enjoying a laugh at the absurd.
Legion Worlds NINE - wait, there's even more ongoing amazing adventures? Yup, and you'll only find them in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.

Little bit broken hearted over this. I've used Sam Vimes as a name on the internet for years, and my son is named Sam.
All my favorite authors are passing on. That tells me my years are closer to end than beginning.
His take on humanity and their peccadilloes was one that informed me of much of mine.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!
