And just like that, bunnies and hares all over the world let out a collective groan. Well it could have been a groan of myxomatosis, which would have been worse....marginally.

What are your thoughts on Baby Loony Toons?

I have certain nostalgia for TV cartoons from the late 70s, like Dynomutt and Plastic Man, even though I can recognize now that most of them were mediocre at best.
80s TV cartoons, on the other hand, I will defend to the death.

Dynomutt! Brings back memories. Like Fanfie, I have some nice memories of some cartoons which I recognize are not all that good.

The voice acting in Dynomutt, by Frank Welker & Gary Owens as Dynomutt & Blue Falcon, almost compensated for the writing and animation, IMO.

The voice acting was indeed a highlight! I also liked the crossover with Scooby-Doo in the Scooby-Doo movies.

Gary Owens was also the voice of the original Space Ghost and of the Ren & Stimpy superhero parody Powdered Toast Man.

I could never get into Ren and Stimpy. I was more of a Rugrats kid myself.

I could never get into Rugrats, because I've never liked kids, not even when I was one myself. That's why I decided long ago never to have any kids.

I'm not a fan of Rugrats either, probably for similar reasons. I also am not planning ever to have kids.

While I found Rugrats charming, I was never a big fan myself. I don't particularly want to have kids, but Blaze wants two. I told him we should just clone ourselves so we can have the perfect sons Of course, the extended family expects me to have kids.

Ah c'mon. Don't you ever look into a child's eyes and see...future property damage, tantrums and an enormous financial outlay in a society based on consumerist greed? Hmmmm, fair enough guys...

My sisters had 8 children among them. One of my nephews already has two kids of his own. My folks were fine with my not wanting any.

I am the eldest, the only son, and grandma keeps telling me i am her favorite. I was supposedly the smartest growing up so i am the best bet to continue the family lineage. Ohmygod! Like do not let Gramps see this thread. You guys know what these threads make him like do... Maybe he will finally make this thing die!

Maybe he will finally make this thing die! Surely the last few posts have taught us that other Kill This Lineage threads should pop up across the boards?

Is this thread like a hydra? If we kill one of them, won't another pop up and take its place?

yup, which would mean that we'd all get a chance of killing one.
Hey, the radio has just informed me that rockhopper penguins jump between 4 & 5 feet. Not bad for a comedy programme. No mention of thread killing attributes. Poor research.

Rocky is the only rockhopper penguin that kills threads. All the others have up trying long ago.
