Has anyone been reading this? I really like sci-fi hero stuff and there’s been a lot of it from what I’ve seen in the book. The art looks great too. What has been your opinions?

I didn't get past the train wreck of Starfire in issue #1. I've never went near it since.

^ same. I do think there's been an LWer or two that have stuck with it though, like Fat Cramer.

What was the train wreck with her? It doesn't make much sense to me now that she and Red Arrow were never Titans so how did they meet?

Scott Lobdell originally wrote that Starfire had a screwed up sense of memory because she's an alien, and then he had to correct that when people got angry. First Roy was a Teen Titan and so was Starfire, and then Lobdell had to retcon that because editorial wanted to get rid of all the pre-existing Titans teams before the current version.
Scott Lobdell is back on the book, and the current story is that Arsenal is the ONLY Outlaw who's not addicted to drugs. Venom, to be precise. Oh, but Roy gets badly burned when Starfire, after injecting venom into herself, goes into overdrive mode and sets him on fire as she flies away. Like standing behind a jet as its engines fire up, or something. And the artist who's working on this arc is Geraldo Borges, the same guy who was the primary artist on Rise of Arsenal when pre-Nu Roy went back to using heroin. I feel like some editor at DC has a sick sense of humor, but sick in "sick," not sick as in playfully messing with someone.

So, the surprise of Rebirth? Red Hood & the Outlaws.
I'm shocked as I was ready to hate this, and the only reason I even got #1 was because my Dad, being a collector and completest, wanted to get all of the Rebirth titles. The last series, usage of Jason Todd and Lobdell in general were negatives. Yet, after a great opening issue, and now a few issues in, I can say it's emerged as an enjoyable and high quality series each issue!
Choosing the Red Hood, Artemis and Bizarro was pretty ingenious to start, but the way they've been able to play them off each other has been nothing short of brilliant. Add in Black Mask as the series opening villain, and the four characters have had one fantastic interaction after another since the series started. That has all coalesced into a really interesting opening arc that leaves me super-curious as to where this is going next. I really like the relationship that has developed between the main three!
I can honestly say now this is the first time I've liked Jason Todd since his annoying revival a few years ago (decade by now?). I can also remember now why I loved those Lobdell X-Men issues so much in the 90's--when he's on, he's on, and he thrives when writing these interesting sort of interactions. Especially when he isn't trying to shoehorn in gratuitous violence and sex, which is all gone now--replaced by solid storytelling instead.
Conjure Lass is also a huge fan of this series, and I know Pov plans on picking it up based on her rec. I think its worth checking out.
