...ate a bowl of Frosted Flakes just before I logged in tonight.

... envied Fanfie as I haven't had Frosted Flakes in years!

...could sort of relate to Ibby's situation, because in the country where I grew up during the 80s, we had a really bad president from 1984 to 1988 who cut back severely on imports. Suddenly, all the comics I loved and all the treats I loved were unavailable. One of the best things about moving to the States a couple years after that was having treats and comics readily available (although they were much different comics from the ones I grew up reading.)

...misread "logged" as "flogged", initially! What is WITH me and trying to saucify Le Ficque's posts tonight?

That Vitamin D in Frosted Flakes sure makes one flog more energetically!

Heady times, my friends, heady times. I shaved my head thinking I'd look just like Sinead O'Connor -- to put it mildly, I did not.

...am rather sore from working out with The Boyfriend yesterday.

(We went to the gym. I mean, really! What were you thinking? )

... recovering from too much dwink from a leaving night yesterday. 5 people leaving at the same-ish time.

So, had to nurse it a little going round doing things with others today.

..now off to put together a little garden fountain.

...slept in too late.

...remembered that I forgot to post yesterday that I saw Guardians of the Galaxy in 3D.

And it made me wish I could see a movie with a 3D ricocheting Bouncing Boy. (hmmm...what could that movie be?)

...think a big tumbler of ice water and the used Ornette Coleman LP I scored today both sound mighty good. See you all tomorrow! [smooch]

..bought a new laptop

...got a new pair of running shoes (black with bold orange along the sides of the soles). I won't be running in them. I have to move more slowly so people can admire them.

...pulled a muscle in my leg.

... got to work at 7.30am. I had to wake up at 5.30am to make it.

... had a moment of pure bliss.

Sitting on the couch in the early morning, my wife's legs draped across my lap, watching my dog splayed out on the rug happily twitching away in a dream, as a wonderful breeze blew in through the open window.

Life... it's very, very good at times.

... went out for lunch with my whole office. Our boss picked up the tab.

...ate mashed potatoes, still a favorite of mine.
