I haven't seen a warning sign that says "inflammable" in years.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

People probably set all the signs on fire thinking they couldn't burn.

That's a great one, too.
I wonder if the last two posts will inspire Pov to post in this thread?

I hope so. It would also be nice for Outdoor Miner to come back. And Beagle Boy. And Matlock. And Joeboy. And Icefyre...

So I got chased by a homeless man tonight.
Keep up with what I've been watching lately! "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

"Such a Night" is a song by New Orleans icon Dr. John, who was a partial inspiration for the Muppets' Dr. Teeth.

Ah, nice segue, Fanfie. I always enjoyed watching the Muppets. They were a lot more fun than Sesame Street. I did like Sesame Street too though, except for Elmo. For some reason he infuriated me.

For some reason I can't really explain, two of my favorite Muppets were Statler and Waldorf, the grumpy old men who heckled the performances.

Oh, those two were a hoot! I liked how they were grumpy without being too acerbic. They weren't annoying at all.
Same reason I found Miss Piggy so entertaining. She was a handful, but she was endearing too.

Miss Piggy was the diva to end all divas. And we love her for it.

One of my professors had a Miss Piggy poster in her cubicle. She had the same personality, but was a lot less likable.

Much as I love her, she was no role model, that's for sure.

Definitely. And it was characters like Miss Piggy that made me realize that the Muppets are so not for kids.

It's too bad that Disney doesn't realize that the Muppets are not for kids.

I think there's a reason why Sesame Street characters and Muppets characters are almost totally separate!

Kermit was the main point of crossover. Eventually he left Sesame Street, about the time it became The Elmo Show.

I loved Kermit on Sesame Street as the roving reporter. He looked so cute in the hat and coat.

Never really got into the Muppets, but I loved Sesame Street as a kid
