In all seriousness, what would be a great name for a girl version of Bouncing Boy?

(And by "girl," I don't mean a skinny young thing where the only "Big" area is the chesticular region. Ow. I get sympathy back pains just thinking about it.)

I think it would be best to avoid the word "bounce" too smile

Rebound or Ricochet works for me.

Ricochet was in fact, a character in Erik Larsen's Freak Force, and her powers were very similar to Bouncing Boy's.

Pretty sure no self-respecting femme would want to be known as "Rebound"!

Bouncing Betty is a name used for a type of mine, and might be less appropriate for a superhero (since there's not much endearing about landmines).

Recoil could work.

Bank Shot is right out...

Might as well have her be big, and not skinny. Speedball already has the 'skinny bouncer' covered, so it's not original or anything. Big Bertha barely counts as a 'big' heroine, since she's got the mutant power of fat control, and is able to be a skinny fashion model whenever she wants!

I loved Freak Force! laugh

There is a boy Ricochet in Marvel too, I do quite like that name. For a female version of Bouncing Boy, I vote we call her Bouncing Betty!

I can't remember who posted it, but someone here came up with an awesome idea for Chuck and Lu's daughter with bouncing AND duplication powers called Multiball too!

Why not just Bouncing Girl?

As for a first name, there could be... Charlotte or Charlene.

I suddenly remembered the Nam'lor story, where Lelith tells him to get rid of Bouncing Boy. "And now, Bouncing Boob's going to get it!" wink

I always thought a female Academy student from Bummb'l, whose inhabitants all possessed the same powers as Bouncing Boy, would have been interesting.
