Legion World Forums LEGION CLUBHOUSE The Legion of Super-Heroes Legion documentary?

Hello everybody - A while back my brother and I started wondering why there is no Legion documentary (if there is one I'm not aware of please let me know). As we talked about it, we both reached the point where we both agreed: "The Legion DESERVES a great documentary... too bad DC doesn't care enough to do it."

This got me to thinking - as if these forums weren't evidence enough, the Legion has a huge fanbase available. If nobody's made or making one, why don't the fans work together to create one of their own? If we all work together, based in the areas we are scattered out at, I'm sure we can get in contact with writers, artists, etc... creators who have some connection with the Legion.

If we organized, and so long as we give all due credit and collect no money for it, I think we'd be fine making this thing. Say one of us met up with someone (Levitz, Waid, anyone with Legion ties) and had in hand a list of fan questions and discussion topics, should we really rule out the possibility of performing some sort of interview? My point is, us Legion fans are everywhere. If any of you are as hungry for this type of thing as we are, and willing to put in some work for it, I think we could put together the documentary by the fans, for the fans.

Please tell me this isn't just a pipedream - what do you think? Who's willing to help us do something like this?

Not sure I could commit to helping in any way, but I think it's a wonderful idea.

The point is, I think I'll start doing this. When I go to a con now, I'm going to try to meet as many Legion-connected creators as I can and get as much as I can out of them, hopefully I'll have material to bring to the internet for other Legion fans. Anything I can get done will probably be done on my Legion facebook page, (linked in my signature) if anyone has ideas or wants to discuss this further, it's easier to get a hold of me there.
