Nura: "There's one man at the centre of the dream. I don't recognise him, but I saw him clearly. Whoever he is, he will create a conflict that will affect all sentient life..."
So, who do we reckon mysterious shadow-guy is?
Looking at what's been said and the look, I reckon we're walking about Valor/Mon-El here. The whole 'god' attitude towards him could still happen. He looks mostly right for the part and countless people could war over his ideologies. He could cause the war and be on the Legion's side, or just be a nuts, evil Daxamite (and they aren't the nicest of people normally).
Waid did say he wanted to tackle Mon-El eventually, but not at first, so this could be some foreshadowing.
Any other thoughts about who it could be or why the war?

I'm inclined that it will be a villain from the legion of superheroes but the question is largely whose big enough to fill that role from their rogue's gallery.
With Darkseid mentioned as a major no no I'd have to say that it'll be Mordru.
I hope they rightfully make Superman the worshipped god across worlds rather than Mon'el.

I'm not so sure about a Legion villain, I think Waid said he wasn't going to use them. Which means either no or he'll crack and break that promise some time. I don't mind either way, it would be fun to see some non-fatal five villains at some point. By that math, no Legion villains could mean a Legion member (Mon-El) as a villain.
Thank the gawds Darkseid is a big no. Superman could be fun, maybe even Superboy...

No, he only said two villains I believe he wouldn't use (Darkseid was one)

Waid said something to the effect of "Shoot me if I ever try to use Darkseid or Universo".
This saddens me because I quite like Universo and Dream Crime was probably the only story I actually enjoyed in the last run but if this means I never have to read anything as bad as Foundations again I can live with it.
By the way, I don't think that's Mon-El in Nura's dream. Have no idea who it is though.

I thought it looked a Science Police uniform - a traitor? an inadvertant creator of conflict?
It could well be somebody entirely new, of course, unconnected with previous Legion history.
Mon-El's an interesting proposal, though.

I doubt its Mekt but I wouldn't mind Mekt becoming a Kingpin/Lex Luthor figure honestly.

Well if it is a former villain it makes me wonder...Waid said no Universo or Darkseid...but those were the guys DnA had recently used. So I hope it isn't a former villain. With that said I'm a big Mordu and Time Trapper fan. I would think Mordu.
BUT I love Mon-El and if it IS him it would be really interesting.

One man at the center of a dream...when dealing with the Legion, this could certainly mean RJ Brande.

You shed some light on the true character, Vee - it's a rich guy, but this time around, it's Lester.

Take a look at the felt rough on Barry's page... he seems to be older... wiser... and maybe in some sort of official uniform.
I'm placing my bet on a UP council member. Any takers?
