Got this because it's by DnA, and well...it's classic BSG. I loved the new series, but also loved the classic.
This has a real nice Ross cover and the art inside is nice as well. Nothing super special, but competent. All the characters are recognizable, if not exact visions of the actors. Nice job overall.
The story is setting up the first arc, and providing a little bit of background for the whole thing. It would seem that they feel everyone that would get this is familiar enough with the premise as to not have to beat us over the head with it for the entire first issue.
It will be interesting to see where they take this. We end with a cliffhanger, with a good old fashioned "what are they gonna do?" vibe.
