Well, friends, apparently DC got something right! Even the universe itself is apparently going to reboot at some unidentified point in the far future! WE'LL BE LIKE EARTH 247. " A concept known as vacuum instability could result, billions of years from now, in a new universe opening up in the present one and replacing it." So, what do you guys think the new universe is going to be like? Will we be like Earth Prime? New 52? GOSH, I didn't realize comics were so amazingly prophetic! It's like Superboy punching reality all over again! XD

Power Boy survives. Called it. World's Finest is one of the only good books out of the current boot.

It is entirely possible that the Universe has already rebooted itself.
In addition to the fact that our Universe has been expanding for some 12 or 15 or 18 billion years, overwriting anything that might have been here before...
It is entirely possible that somewhere within the range of our vision, another Universe has begun expanding, overwriting our own.
As the leading edge of the expanding sphere moves at least at the speed of light, such a "reboot" universe would be invisible to us. We could already be doomed to destruction, and we would never even kno

Next time we have a DC/Marvel crossover, I want it to take place in the Hostessverse

I was worried that the missing "w" at the end of the last post was a sign that we had been rebooted. But I'm still here... hang on....
Sorry. just had to peek out the window to see that other things were still here too. Hey, that post was months ago. Panic over.
But yes, universes rippling out, overwriting everything that was there before.
I'm not too bothered about what it would be like. I just don't want DC to have any say in how it's put together. It's just the sort of cheapest, lowest outsourcing that a slack deity would go in for.
"Oh we've got plenty of experience in rebooting. In fact, another one will be along any time no..."
"...not having to believe in a thing to be interested in it and not having to explain a thing to appreciate the wonder of it."
