I have started working on the cover for V3 and I would like some help. On the front cover I like the image of Brainy's eye crying, but I think the other 4 are far less moving.

Any suggestions for for powerful images from issues 1-28 and annuals 1 and 2 that would fit well in these slivers?

First Draft of Volume 3 Cover

Wndola, I think this thread would get more of a response in the Legion forum, so I'll move it over there for you. I sent you a private message.

What a great idea.

I would move Brainys eye over to the right hand side and replace it on the left with Karate Kids Arm and symbol from No.4.

Then if possible split the cover of No. 9 into two and have them either side of the 'I Want You' Sun Boy from No.17.

But really no matter which ones you pick that is going to be a great looking cover.

It's so exciting to see these volume covers that you're creating.
I loved your Legion Lost work, too.

If this is just for you (the design isn't for a DC publication coming out, I wish), then put the cover slices in that mean something to you, especially, like the Brainy one.

I agree with Stu that you should include Val's death, though. Just because it was an important death in Legion history.
Putting them at both ends though, kind of celebrates death and I don't know how you feel about that.
Grief DOES kind of define that era, in a way.

You might emphasize that theme with a Validus/brother slice and a Jeckie killing NK slice with something more hopeful, like Sensor Girl in the middle.

It's great that Cobie is looking out for you.
And where is the Lost cover?
I wanted to see those again.

A singin' and a dancin'
along the way.

Yeah I need to find a better sensor girl for the middle... I will try and get some progress on this and the other 2 volumes this weekend... Volume 3 is short so I am going to also add who's who, Legionaires 3, Secrets, some substitutes special issues and a few others to fill it out.

I will post some more pics soon.

Oh and thanks for the move

Man, I miss Coipel on Legion... we really were witness to a young artist's growth from "I'm not sure about this guy's work" newbie to "Marvel's stolen him for AVENGERS" superstar...

Ok Here is Book 1 of "The Legion"

The cover picture is way more fuzzy than I would like, but I cant seem to get the scan to look better and I needed a verison without the upc and title...

I am trying to book through these and not stress so much as they are really only for my personal enjoyment

They don't have the graphic covers pages up yet, it is a new program.

it's $15 a volume + shipping.

I should get Legion Lost Back on Tuesday or Wednesday. So I can post photos of a finished product then.

15 for the entire thing, or just for the special cover? I have the page bookmarked...thinking of maybe getting something done as a trial.

Looking forward to the phhotos and review of the quality.

Issue #28 would have made a more dramatic cover, but I really don't like thinking about Dirk that way.
