Why did no one tell me how cute this was!? And I know it shows a startling lack of attention span, but I sort of dig how each comic is pretty much self-contained. I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Its a real shame they canned both it and the show. They make me grin like a loony.

IMHO, this Legion series beats the Reboot, the Threeboot, and the Retroboot. Paired with the TV show, it is just outstanding.

What's not to love?

Great stuff: Warhawks. Teen Lantern. A new Martian Hyperclan. Two super-girlfriends for Superboy: Alexis Luthor, and Princess Xenobia of New Themiscrya. Phantom Girl talks to the ghosts of Trom. A real, live Arm-Fall-Off Boy origin story. Nemesis Kid & the White Witch, together again for the first time.

Great stuff from the TV show: Zyx. Drax. The Subs. This version of Chameleon Boy.

I only bought the first issue, which was just a pretty craptacular adaptation of the first episode, IIRC. Kinda wish I'd stuck with it now.

Well, there's always eBay....

I actually give the writers some props here. Its not easy to write short, self-contained storylines that are still engaging and fun. I loved all Bouncing Boy and Triplicate Girl's spoiled dates. SOOOOO CUUUUUTEEEE.

I was also pretty much unimpressed by the first issue, but I managed to pick up most of the issues later. I actually don't think I ever got around to reading all of them, but I remember really liking what I did read. Hmm... I must figure out what I did with them!

I still cycle through them all with my kids. They love them and I love them. A really great series with an awful first issue (which was also the Free Comic Book day issue).

#16 ranks up there as one of my favourite Legion stories. Ever.

I thought the comic integrated the DCU pretty well.

The 'toon was pretty fab, with the exception of making sure Ayla never could join (via her age)--- my chief peeve with cartoon. I pretty much liked everything else I saw.

I agree that this series was a huge amount of fun and even got me to like a Green Lantern that was not Alan Scott (which is no easy feat).

For a large part of when it was being published I thought it was the best Legion book available beating out both the Threeboot and, parts at least, of Johns Action story.

The Torres/Serra team (primarily) really seemed to have a handle of the characters where I would be more than happy if they were given a run on the main book.

I can't believe I didn't buy this. Or the Young Justice comic coming out right now (based on that cartoon).

Given how much I love the cartoons, I can only blame it on senility!
