1) The Super-cousins: A logical choice, but perhaps too easy.
2) The "other" ECHO Legionnaire: Most likely prospect--Nura--would explain how she rescued Thom so simply, but don't really want the ECHO plotline to resurface.
3) Glorith: Perhaps the very reason Mysa wanted her to join the Legion in the first place.
4) Harmonia Li: May well know exactly where and when the lost members are, and is playing an extremely LONG game of some sort.
5) Wildfire:Theoretically his anti-energy form could survive a millenia (similar to Mon-El's Phantom Zone experience).
6) Mon-El: If he ever shows up in the contemporary New 52.
7) Pandora: She knows where the lost Legionnaires are and has been seen in the 31st Century.
Anyone else?

- Any of the 5th dimensional beings in the current Action run. They could end up playing some elaborate "Game" for Myx, or need to outwit Vyn somehow.

- The alternate future Legionnaires from Action, although that could lead to all sorts of nasty headaches.

- Time Trapper could use them as pawns to draw the other Legionnaires into a time trap (see what I did there)?

- Rip Hunter will show up eventually in the DCNu, if only to keep the mark alive, he might be able to break the Flashpoitn barrier.

Harmonia Li is an interesting thought, since she should already be alive during the 21st century. I never really thought about her in the context of someone who could have appeared in Legion Lost, and her secret 'world of the wise' where people like Confucius could live forever as a means of transporting the Legion Lost team forward 1000 years.

I'd be a lot more forgiving of her uninvited presence on the team if she was instrumental to returning Tellus, Timber Wolf, Tyroc, Yera, etc. to the team.

Dawnstar can get "home" under her own power any time she wants to. It has been repeatedly shown that she can fly at light-speed (and beyond).

She simply needs to fly off toward Beta Centauri (a distance of 500 light-years) at a speed below the speed of light, but fast enough to cause Einsteinian time-contraction to reduce her subjective travel time to a half-hour. Then make the reverse journey back to Earth.

For her, an hour will have passed. For the rest of the Universe, 1,000 years will have passed.

This is the fundamental, supension-of-disbelief problem of having the Lost Legion "stuck" in the past. There are so many options open to them, that there is no way they are "stuck" in the 21st century, and certainly not on Earth.

Wildfire, Gates, Dawnstar, and possibly Tyroc have the whole 21st-century Galaxy open to explore.

They can't stay "lost" and "stuck" forever. If they are to remain on 21st-century Earth, there must be a reason for them to want to stay there.

Incomplete list of ndividuals known to be capable of Time Travel:
Zatanna
Doctor Fate
the Spectre
Superman
the Atom
the Flash
Green Lantern
Booster Gold
Rip Hunter

Next time we have a DC/Marvel crossover, I want it to take place in the Hostessverse

And yet, when she, or Superboy or Mon-El or the Flashes pull these stunts, time dilation never occurs (unless it's a very specific plot point, which never explains why it didn't happen the last fifty times they went C-speed or higher), so I'm not sure thats an option.

What she could do is think, 'Where's the nearest source of time travel that could get us home' and her 'infallible' tracking power will magically lead her right to it.

Her power is insane, which is why;
A) she never thinks of using it and
B) when she does, the writers come up with some sort of excuse for why it isn't working.

On this we agree. The demon Etrigan can be added to the time traveller list, as he's cast magic to throw Superman through time before as well. Atlantean sorcery has been used to travel through time. Zeta beam mixups have shot people through time.

I'm pretty sure that Brin couldn't throw a rock in any direction in Metropolis without bonking someone on the head who could get them home.

And if 'none of this can be counted on in the new DCU!' there's always Harvest, a loser one-shot villain created for a crossover that sucked donkey balls, who, oh so conveniently *also* has time travel stuff, along with the standard factory installed 'undefined power to do anything he wants, cause he's a crossover / event villain.'

Man, this is easy. Just repeat the Nura-saves-Thom thing. Show a page of Glorith and Harmonia coming through a passage with the seven lost Legionnaires thrown over their shoulders, then never explain it and move on with another story. What more do we die-hard fans need?

lol

It would be more in character if Nura did it again.

I actually thought they might have shown up in last issue's Glorith time storm, as a teaser only to disappear at the end the issue when everything went back to normal. That way the Legion would know they were alive.

With all the available magical tech and handwavium powers (Brainy's intelligence, Glorith's magic, Harmonia's immortality and unending mysteriousness), all we really need is for Nura to have ONE vision involving ONE of the 7 Lost Legionnaires. Just ONE, to let them know they're alive, and poof!

Why not put a law firm on retainer & have them deliver a letter in a 1,000 years, it worked for an episode of Quantum Leap & one of the Back to the Future movies.

I'd go for a combination of witchcraft - since the tech efforts have failed to find them - with the Black Witch, since it would give us an excuse to see more of her. If Mordru could time travel, she may be able to now.

I still like the idea of the Subs going to find Drura, and stumbling on the Legionnaires, so I'd have them working with the Black Witch.

There's also Stormwatch. I'm not sure what they're capable of in terms of time travel.

That would be for the best. Move forward *fast.*

Some things don't need to be stories in themselves, they just need to happen so that the actual story can advance.

The timestorm would have been an ideal opportunity. But I'd be just as comfortable with a single page scene of the seven 'Lost' Legionnaires in the hall of statues commenting on how ugly their statues looked or whatever, and how they're glad they got a ride back to the future.

They don't even have to tell us *how* they 'got a ride back to the future' or who gave them that ride. It's not important. It's a Maltese Falcon made of pure Handwavium. By not telling us who did it, it doesn't set up a question of why they can't call on that person later for a time travel related storyline, since, for all we know, it could have been a one-time deal.
