hey all,
wanted to make another poll and i'm having a hard time (in the midst of final projects) in getting a list together of Legion loose ends from various eras
so short answers (cuz i'll probably be able to figure it out) - what are some Legion loose ends that were never resolved?

Cub aging?

Nuras nails breaking - did she have an iron deficiency?

Wildfires limits?

Computo/ Sharn Nux (whatever her name was) - in the past/ ends of time?

Star Boy dying or not? Was Dreamer having a bad day and got it wrong?

What held up Laurel Kents costume?

Legion Worlds NINE - wait, there's even more ongoing amazing adventures? Yup, and you'll only find them in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.

I think it was the comics code authority, and what a grand job they did too laugh

Who shot Laurel Kent?...no wait..

Laurel Gand vs. the Khundish Empire. I loved that, its one of my favorite Legion related sub plots ever.

What was the thingie that the Fatal Five were going to retrieve then retire?

Who came first, Krypton or Daxam? laugh

Why does Superman remember three (?) different versions of the Lagion?

...a thousand more soon (probably)...

Dreamer was sad because she thought she would never see Monstress OR KID QUANTUM again, in the second issue of Widening Rifts. In the case of Monstress that was true, but she certainly saw KQ again! (OK, this is probably a mistake by the writers rather than a lose end. But it really kept me guessing for a long time)

I always thought it was the Comics Code that kept Laurel Kent's costume on.

This reminds me about something. Isn't Star Boy being lost in hypertime the perfect opportunity for him to go back in time to become Danny Blaine/Starman? I would absolutely love it if a writer would pick up on this and make it happen.

How about the story between Mysa and Dragonmage in the reboot. There was something about their past which was never revealed. I can't remember the specifics (and I'm too lazy to go look it up right now), but she (Mysa) kept saying that there was something "familiar" about him (Xao
Jin). Nothing ever came of this story after those two took their leave.

Xao reminded Mysa of her long-dead lover. Whether this was supposed to be the setup for a story isn't quite clear.

And I was sure the writers planned to create a new LSV. They introduced a lot of characters that I believe were meant to be members of that team :
-the telepath girl who "cured" Brainy: a new Esper Lass?
-Magno looked a lot like pre-crisis Magno Lad.
-Tinya's missing 3rd body.
-Mekt Ranzz and Micro lad were re-introduced early.

I'm sure I'm forgetting 2 or 3 others characters...

I would liked to have seen the events that led up to the (gang) rivalry between Jo and Brin in the last incarnation of the legion.

Also, we never found out if Brin was from Rimbor (or did he just grow up there), or was he actually from Zuun. Furthermore, if he is originally from Zunn, how and why was he on Rimbor?

I would have loved to see M'onel reveal to the Universe that he was Valor. Not that it was a dangling plot thread, but alas, we'll never know...

Tinya/Brin/Jo triangle... will those crazy kids ever make nice?

A rematch between Colossal Boy and Duplicate Boy.
The first time they met the fight sorta ended in a draw (when the Legion first met the Heroes of Lallor in the 60's).

The second one, Gim got his butt handed to him. It's a good thing that Jo Nah showed up when he did.

Now that you mention it Myg, I'd love to see that rivalry carried over into the new book. All those Legionnaires they have now and you just know some of them won't like each other.
I always liked the Dev-Em /Mon-el friction too, not that that dangles as a loose end anywhere though.

I'm surprised there weren't more rivalries than we actually saw. When you put a bunch of teens (or adults for that matter) from differnet back grounds, in an unsupervised enviornment, "things" happen. Take schools for instance. On the other hand, I think there was a lot ot tolerence. Some Legionnaires never had two words (on panel anyway) to say to each other.

The Time Trapper mentioned once that XS' "ultimate role" was yet to be revealed.

And wouldn't it be a total copout if they said that her ultimate role was using her speed to power the machine that sent the Fatal 500 back to their home dimensions and got the Legion stuck in the timestream?
