Fine with me too.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

It sure is! In fact, it should start right about...oh, yeah, right about now. But you guys have to run it! (You guys and Cru, who is the permanant third monitor). I'd post the rules for you, but someone will do it for me, considering my long documented laziness! Its a pretty fair and easy system at this point. The problem is getting people to actually run!

Since the only real power of the leader is conducting elections, being leader but not conducting elections is kind of like immortality, Hector Hammond style!

Yes, it's just around the corner.
With a bat.
And it's just waiting to whack us over our collective heads and steal our wallets.

I think the first thing we need to do is find someone to run in advance, and then sneakily plot to get them elected.
I don't really care who it is, as long as I'm in on the conspiracy.
(You know, like the politicians in real life!)

Wow! When did that happen? I didn't even notice! (I'm winking now, too)

Jillikers! If you guys don't run the elections that means me and EDE will have to do it, which basically means Eryk will do all the work while I bug him and stuff!

As a concerned sentient, just like all of you other concerned sentients out there, I would relish the chance to throw my bonnet into the electoral ring once more.
After all, only a woman with my... MULTIPLE talents is fit for the position of leader.

Well, the first thing you need is access to The Election Tyrant ID. Then you post a thread, ala this one , announcing the election and the rules. And then, you post a discussion thread , where people can announce their candidacy, and a Debate Thread, ala this one , for people to ask the candidate questions. Give people a week or so to announce their candidacies, then make an official announcement that the polls are open for however long. Then it's a matter of counting the votes. It's pretty simple.

Okay. Now that we know what to do, would someone please PM Joe and me the password to the Election Tyrant and then we'll get the show on the road.

Oh, and one more thing. Once the election is over, remember to delete the pm's from the Election Tyrant account before you turn the password over to the next leader.

And just make sure that people realize that when they vote, they have to post in the 'I voted thread' for it to officially count. Glad to hear you guys are all set for this! Now I have to convince some people to run, since me and my Legion of alts can run in *every* election...
