Hi guys,

I know that quite a few of us have ICQ, Yahoo mess, aim and msn messengers links in our profiles, but quite frankly, no one ever reads them. So here's mine for the people who like a chat from time to time

Pariscub on yahoo
pariscub@hotmail.com on msn

what's yours guys?

Sorry. I only use AIM at the moment and only then, on Tuesdays for the Legion/Legion World chats. My AIM is glcsd.

I haven't really had much free time lately to spend at the computer.

Did you know there's a regular tuesday evening LW chat? I've only made it once but it's really here. The chatroom's name is Irulan System and it starts sometime around 6 or 7 pm east coast time (I think). Some of the regulars and probably quite a few new guys here have AIM (or other chat program names) in their profiles.

I have a AIM chatname Yk3k04 but I virtually never do chats anymore at all so I'm never on AIM. I used to chat a lot but I just don't have as much time to kill these days.

Good luck and have fun!

The AIM chats are usually starting around 6:30 pm ET on Tuesdays (3:30 pm PT, currently 2330 GMT) and last for about 90 minutes to 2 hours, before all end up departing.

You'll almost always find someone there. The chat room is "Irulan System." I'm usually there as Greybird007, but am rarely on at other times.

I used to attend all the time before I had computer trouble at home...*choke*

In fact, people can look for me as HarpSCC, if I finally get online again. I used to leave AIM on for days on end, although it was usually just as an away message and never me actually there cool

My AIM is too hit or miss. It usually screws up my network, causes my laptop to lose its connection to the network. Then I have to spend an hour rebuilding the wireless network to even get connected again. I miss chatting on Tuesdays but it isn't worth the headache sometimes.

Sorry, Paris, but I've so busy lately that I haven't had the time to get through the entire MMB. I only just discovered this thread.

Anyway, here's me:

ferro_boy@yahoo.com on Yahoo!
dannyboymcny@hotmail.com on MSN.
iaminherenow on AIM.

I have an ICQ #, but it's been so long since I've used it that I don't remember what it is. I don't even have ICQ installed at the moment.

Oh, and Cobie, I know what you mean. I used to be signed onto AIM on my cell phone constantly. People would try to chat with me while I was in the middle of other things. Let me tell you that it's no fun to IM on a cell phone. I haven't signed on to AIM on my cell phone in over a year.

How can you even type out messages on a cell phone with any ease? I've been mystified, though I see it being done every day. Nobody must be learning touch typing any more -- because you can't switch easily from doing that (as I do, 100 words per minute) to hunting and pecking.

The problem isn't typing the messages. The problem is that I'm so anal about grammar that I have to use full sentences, periods, commas, quotation marks, and so forth. It takes me too much time! I can manage with text messaging because it usually won't get me an immediate reply so I don't have to reply back. IMing on the phone is another story. It's possible, but highly annoying. Maybe when the keyboard attachment comes out... smile

I'm findable on AIM via Foenix13, and on IRC in #comicbooks as Foenix usually. I also have a YIM name as zoesaugin, but I rarely use that, but it's worth a shot if anyone wants to chat. IRC is really my home though, so that or AIM is the best bet of finding me.
