JUst to let everyone know, Scott and Caroline (our Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl) had to rush Caroline's dad to the hospital just a little while ago. They think he may have had a stroke. So, this is just a place for prayers and expressions of hope. Scott, Caroline, this is the online candle I'm lighting for you guys and your mom and dad. Everyone, Scott and I thank you for your prayers and concern. We just got home a little while ago. They admitted dad to the hospital. The CAT scan didn't indicate any new strokes, but bloodwork showed he had an infection, and with the fever as well they kept him. He's on IV's with antibiotics to rehydrate him.
We'll see how it goes over the weekend, but we know he will rest as comfortably as he can away from home, and hopefully get good care.
A nurse asked mom, are you the wife? She said only for 51 years.... She cried that we had to leave him there, but on the way home admitted that she needs at least a few days to get some rest herself. I think all three of us will be sleeping in. Gosh, it's 2:06AM and I'm still wired from the stress.
Thanks again. Your support means the world to me, and to Scott as well. You are like family!!

My (and I'm positive all of Legion World's) Prayers are with you guys. Here's hoping your dad is well enough to come home soon.

An infection sounds much better to me than a stroke.
