Would the fun be lessened around here if there was a list of whose Alt IDs is whose, if everybody could know rather than just a few? Really. Reep's Alt ID is Nardo. Mentioned it several times. Anybody else want to fess up? If several Moderators, and a Founder or two came clean, I bet a lot of others would join in. Who's second?

Brave is the poster, willing to risk the stigma old society attaches to Alt ID's. I've seen it before. A character works hard, plays the game, and creatively climbs the corporate ladder only to have one or more of their ID's outed by a jealous competitor. The crash,  the horrible crash. So many lost, so many.

I think most people know about me and LARDLAD by now. And Jinx should be pretty obvious as well. My other alt-IDs include Thora, Giant Robotic Lesbian, Tarik the Mute (and his android), Doctor Mayavale, and and at least one other that I've never used. I've been trying to claim Thriftshop Debutante for years, but, alas, she ain't me. And of course, it should be mentioned that one of the prominent posters on this board is actually a joint production of four of us working in tandem.

No Santa Claus, and phony Xmas trees I can live with - but please preserve the mystery of the alt-IDs. Some of them are obvious, but I'd really rather not know - more fun to take the alt-ID at face value, so to speak.
I never remember who's who, in any event, so I suppose it doesn't really matter.

I think part of the fun about Alt IDs is not really knowing who they are, or figuring that out for yourself. And if you can pull of an Alt ID so well that people don't even realize that it's an Alt ID... well, that quite flattering in itself
