My parents took more then a few boxes of my comics out of their roof to move some stuff around and a few days later the whole of Newcastle, where they live, flooded. thankfully it was only their garage so the house is ok, and some people I know have more then 4 foot of water through their houses, but even still Im so very annoyed right now pouty look ... Im off to drown my sorrows with excessive amounts of beer. Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

OP Kid Marvel Leader Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,124 Australia	Unfortunately not :*( Of the stuff that got ruined it was all underwater. thankfully there's still half or so left in the attic though, but all my old Ninja turtles comics and She-ra mini comics were in the stuff that was ruined...and my new mutants, x-factor, Excalibur...the list goes on. MY CHILDHOOD HAS BEEN DESTROYED lol. I know its a bit selfish considering the losses others have faced, Im just annoyed because I opted to not take my collection with me in move because it would be to expensive. I'm glad you're parents house is okay and half the collection is still safe, but that really sucks. I guess you can look forward to being able to re-collect stuff over time, though I'm sure that doesn't sound too fun right now. I applaud excessive use of beer-drinking as coping mechanism. Said technique sounds the best route.
