It is come to the attention of the people of Mercury that one of your political candidates has been slandering our world, calling it part of an "Axis of Evil".

We Mercurians are somewhat confused by this assertion. It is true that we have recently been increasing our antimatter weapons program, but we can assure you that our intentions in this regard are purely defensive. As you well know, our solar neighbor, Earth, has pursued a particularly agressive policy towards other planets in our sun-system. We would hope that the LMB would be equally as concerned about this agression, given your history with the planet Earth.

We hope that this matter can be cleared up, and that peaceful relations can be maintained between the citizens of Mercury and the members of the LMB.

There's only one way to settle this!

I volunteer to at first battle N'Chaka in the skies, get into a political debate with him, and then both of us will team-up to destroy some of Earth's Corporate War-Ships!

Mercury - The metal that is liquid at room temperature.

This is why I am opposed to Mercury. Who can trust a liquid metal....or a planet named after one.
Besides we all know that Mercury is supplying Throon with Cantaloupe.

Perhaps the only way to resolve this is the make all Mercurians were a big sign that says 'I'M FROM MERCURY--POSSIBLE EVIL VILLAIN--BE CAREFUL WHEN APPROACHING'. I mean, sure, the sign would have to be pretty big, but we could all point and laugh.

Well, all I can say is that I tried to prevent all out conflict!

But... let me warn you, LMB! Should you try to attack Mercury, you will face the full force of my super-topology powers!

N'Chaka, there is a worry among many that the cataloupe's that Mercury supplies Throon may be enriched to create Dominator technology of galactic destruction. What say you to agreeing to a series of guidelines proposed by the United Planets, but monitored by the LMB and Legion World to ensure this is not so?

I demand a corrupt LMB food-weapons expert (okay lets just call him Tamper) be allowed to inspect these cantaloupes for evidence of the contraband. I'll be donating the cantaloupes to the local space orphanage for feeding to the little guinea pig.... er testing.

I'm confused by this whole thing. Why are we so concerned about the exportation of cantraloupes?

BTW, Space Knights Exports, Inc. (a subsidiary of Space Knights Holding Co) already has a monopoly on the exporting of Legion World's Honey Dew crops. It is an excellent resource that could be substituted for cantaloupe, and it doesn't have the nucleur emissions that pollute space in the same way that cantaloupe does. It is a very real alternative, and Mercury should consider a joint-venture with us in their trading with Throon, rather than maintaining these quasi-destructive cantaloupe facilities.
