(My question doesn't actually involve sex, but I thought I might get a response with that subject.)
What's the difference between the "Mission Monitor Board" and the "The Anywhere Machine" in terms of appropriate postings?

The sexual content. No, seriously... (Actually, the way I understand it is that MMB is about the lives of people who post here. That, and shameless gay flirting. And humor threads. And Lash's Pants. While The Anywhere Machine is more for The Simpsons, or which movies you liked best this summer or why Nancy Kerrigan deserved what she got or why Petra is better than Stryper or why Divine is more fabulous than RuPaul.) I agree, it's a grey area and the lines are kind of blurred.

In the MMB, people are supposed to post about their message board characters, who they are and what they are doing. Post counts, avatars, signatures, and other more message board related nonsense. In the AM, people are supposed to talk about broader subjects. Politics, religion, sexuality, and less message board geared nonsense. There probably isn't a very fine line between the two. If it's non-comic/Legion related then it belongs in either of those forums. If it's geared towards this message board and/or the people who post on it, then it's MMB territory. Otherwise, it goes into the Anywhere Machine.

KP and NC:
Thanks.
I hope I get it right. MMB: Less general, more personal. AM: More specific, somewhat less personal.
(God, I'm such a newbie.)
Peace and love, QL

But I thought that the lives of the people who post here revolve around gay flirting and my pants.

It's all about subtext.
When it's not about text, that is.

Not to worry Lasher, your pants and what's currently going on in 'em are always crucially important to many of us!

And I will Rokk your pants.
In fact, my entire (Legion) world is based on Lash's pants, the contents of Lash's pants, the activities in Lash's pants, how that affects my pants, etc..
Why are you laughing at me? It's unkind, as well as puzzling!

Was that typo a Freudian slip, KP? Actually, Lash's pants and mine are the best of friends.

Some people are like slinkys: not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you knock them down a flight of stairs

For example, when Lash and I get together, we often take off our pants and let them play together in another room.

Sounds similar to some other situations I've sure been sensing! (You can call it a freudian slip if you want!) Incidentally, this thread can't include my pants at the moment, as I have just extricated my legs from them.

Combine them with Señor Widebottom pantaloons and you've got a party!

KP, I can't imagine *what* you're talking about. Maybe you need to talk to Jeka about this ability to *sense* things, get some tips on accuracy, etc. And your pants can indeed join the other pants playing together in that other room. They are more than welcome.

Senor Widebottom's pantaloons are welcome as well. All pants need an outlet to socialize and find love.

My pants are excited about the party at LASH's! Should they bring anything?

Pants usually have more fun if they have empty pockets and a full pouch. Have them bring a well-stocked gift basket.

Rokk's pants rock!
Jefffey, I too am currently pantsless. I am, however, wearing a cute new pair of FTL boxer-briefs, gray in color.
