As you may have guessed since you haven't read posts by me, I'm new here. And, since this seems to be the place to introduce oneself...
Hi. I'm Neemers, a brand-new Legion fan. I've read a few of the comics before that I could get from the local library, but none of them really grabbed my attention until the Threeboot. That one grabbed my attention to the point where it's the first graphic novel that I've gone out and bought when I could just re-order it from the library, ever.
I'm caught up on the comics now, and eagerly awaiting #25 this Thurday. Reading your posts has been a blast for me, since almost everything I know about previous versions of the Legion is from blurbs on Wikipedia. Speaking of which, if anyone here was responsible for creating those, you did a great job.
I've written some fan fiction before for other groups and suspect that I will for the Legion eventually, but at the moment I don't think I know enough to try anything but a few short one-shots. I've done a little art as well, but when the most advanced program I have available most of the time is MS Paint, there are limits to what can be done.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better, and joining the upcoming discussions. See ya later!

Thanks all, for both the welcome and offer of info. Tekwych, I've been to the Legion Wiki once but had a little trouble finding my way around it. I suspect it's just because I was in a rush.

Welcome! You should also check the Bit's of Legionnaire Business area of the board for great art and stories If you ever want to do some work on the Legion, that's the place to put them in

Don't forget to familiarize yourself with the LMB-Boot, as well, Neemers! Many of us participate in our own shared universe that's inspired by all versions of the LSH, but with our own characters--the Legion of Message Board Posters! It's a really well-developed universe. Just check out Cobalt Kid's "A Written History of the LMBP" thread in Encyclopedia Galactica and our latest tag-team mega-story, "omnia mutantur nos et mutamur in illis" - 52 days after INVASION " over in Bits---if you dare!
