I only bring this up because of the starting bid.
$550.00 seems pretty steep a couple of times over. I've seen Alex Ross' WB Legion Litho go anywhere from about $480 to $670 recently.

Now I like Tony Harris as an artist, so it is with all due humility and genuine curiosity when I ask... Why is the opening bid so steep for this cover? Even with Superboy on the cover of a Legion comic again, I don't see this being worth anywhere near that kind of payola.

It's being listed by The Artist's Choice, a professional art reseller. It's like a comicbook store going on eBay and listing something at Overstreet value for a starting bid... generally, it ain't gonna sell. :rolleyes:

Heh. They say "no reserve" when the min bid is $550. I mean, I know they're not quite the same thing (you can bid less than a reserve, even if it probably won't be successful/accepted), but still, why bother?
