I wound up getting a rather nasty case of strep again this week. And, unfortunatly, drugs make me a bit .... loopy. No, I'm serious!! Sudafed Severe Allergy and Cold formula causes me to lose feeling in my extremeties, go light-headed, slur my words, and walk funnier than normal!!!

I noticed that my waterbed sprung a leak, so I had to empty it. After I got it emptied, I decided it was time to take it apart and just be done with it. So I stacked the pieces agains the wall. THEN I took my medicine for strep.

About an hour later, I was walking back through the house, with no lights on, as it was time for bed, and I hit some of the pieces of the waterbed. I wound up putting about a three inch gash about my left ankle, and tore a hunk outta my knee about the size of half a penny.

*sigh*
So I guess I don't have to wait by my phone anymore for all those offers.

I think I'm gonna go drown my sorrows with some ice cream. And maybe spend some money on comics or something.

Okay, so I didn't get any comics. But I DID get some double chocolate ice cream. :-D

Stopped by Home Depot and looked at range tops. They've got a really nice Jenn-Air model there!!!

Then I slipped by Sams and picked up a buttload of garlic, some crab meat, cheese, and tortillas. I'm gonna have crab 'n garlic quesadillas tonight. I feel like I've almost earned 'em. ;-)

A good nights sleep, and everything will be a little better in the morning.

You poor, poor thing! Kisses for your boo-boos. At least the antibiotics should keep the infection away in your ankle and knee as well! When was the last tetanus shot you got? If it's been more than ten years, might be a good idea to get one.

This home accident sounds like something I would do on any given day, and Scott would do if he was 'loopy' or really, really, really tired. I love to cook, but I'm not allowed to wield a knife unless someone else is around. Sometimes I slice and dice myself rather than my veggies.

The double choc ice cream sounds great!! We were at Home Depot as well. When they stole our car the other day our garage door opener was inside so we are replacing it so the jerks can't get in the house!!!

Seriously, I hope you're mending well. That must have hurt like hell. And a strep throat on top of it all. A situation that certainly calls for more ice cream!

Chicken soup may cure the common cold, but there's nothing like double chocolate ice cream for everything else.

You can always tell your grandkids (or grand nieces and nephews) you were bit by an alligator. Should make a good story.

Don't worry Beagz, I just had a funny moment: after throwing a snowball at my fifteen year old brother, I ran down the side walk getting chased, slipped, slid down the sidewalk into the snow, and then before I could even get up, got his snowball down my back.

I couldn't help it, I had to throw one, and God made sure I paid for it...

No, not at all . The best part of it all was that that kind of thing happens everytime it snows! Usually started by me or my 21 year old brother acting immature, and one of the three of us slipping on ice while the other two relentlessly continue throwing snowballs...

Next up, trying to ambush my fourteen year old sister on her way home from school ...
