No money, even though i just got paid...
Sigh...didn't even get my comics for the last two weeks. Thanks to a very nicely destructive ice storm one of my timber crews has been down and the other is havin' trouble gettin wood in the mills.
So, here i sit broke, can't take the missus out, can't go to even a cheap restaurant, hell, even rentin' a movie is a budget breaker.
So, how many of you are stuck at home on a saturday night for whatever reason?
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

I could always send you some electronic versions of recent (or classic Legion) comics if it would help keep you and the missus amused.
Caroline and I are always stuck at home on Saturday night. Any night of the week. But I don't want to bring you down. You can always find something to do with your mate. Even if its just cuddling.

I'm in much the same boat Rick, only my other half and my normally boisterous lodgers are all out so I don't even have their company tonight. And you know what? The silence is wonderful

I've got a splitting headache tonight, and I'm really not feeling well. I think I'll go to bed in a few and call it a very early night (for me, at least)...

Normally I don't have much to do Saturday nights, either.
But I went to see Dr. John play last night and had a pretty good time. Nice change of pace.

There's aleady been a live-action LEGION movie, kinda. It's SKY HIGH.
******Don't continue if you don't want to know.
. . . . In this high school, you've got your Mon-El, your Chlorophyll Kid, your Triplicate Girl, your Chameleon, your XS, your Elastic Lad, your Sun Boy, your Braino of Mrynah, etc....
Plus the characters with the "useless" powers get to save the day.
It was great fun. Check it out!
Meanwhile, my stay-home night has been waylaid. My friends from Dallas are in town so I am going to meetthem out.

Jillikers! I forgot to mention there's a character named Lash in SKY HIGH. He's a real ass! Good hair though.

I'm watching the 1943 Batman serial. Pretty groovy, if you ignore the pretty blatant wartime propagandizing and anti-Japanese racial slurs.

I meant to post on the grooviness of arch-villain Prince Daka! You've got to love any bad guy who would actually employ a henchman whose job is to stand outside the secret entrance to his hideout in a loincloth pretending to be a statue!

Guess what I have not now or never had another half, my life of one night stands and being the bit on the side leaves many free nights on the calander.
