Well it looks like faraway may be getting a bit closer to some of you.  Next week I fly to the USA for a fortnight’s holiday. I am really looking forward to it as I have never been “across the pond” before. I am travelling under my own steam, having found a cheap flight and used the internet (natch) to find hotels and bed and breakfasts and stuff. So whereabouts am I going? Well I plan to start in Washington for 4 or5 days before travelling up to Boston for a few days Quis has already offered to meet up for a drink. Then on to Connecticut to see Pov and Cobalt  to all my legionworld friends

I am so looking forward to meeting Faraway Lad. If you are in the Boston Area, I wouldn't mind you joining Faraway and myself on the 31st.

Oh in DC! If you're even remotely an Exorcist fan, you MUST go to Georgetown. On M St. you can see the walkway up where the one of the scenes was filmed. Absolutely gave me the creeps when I saw it.

Have a drink on Scott? I call bellybutton shot!   And we're definitely looking forward to your visit, Darden. I had my treatment yesterday, after some last-minute scrambling, and I'm feeling pretty good now, so we should be good to go when you get here, buddy! :hugs:

I know you are Scott. and belive me if time or finances allowed then a trip to Utah would have been on the agenda. but as they say, there is always next year. I've done it once I can do it again. I'm sure Cobie and Pov will help me raise a glass or two to you and gary for giving us all this wonderful place to play in.

If Scotts wrists are bad can he still raise a glass? maybe we will have to drink his share as well Glad you sound ok Pov.
