* That's an excellent idea. I hadn't considered the implications of facing PE Lad or NK Lass for the male members of this Task Force. So we shall have to plan accordingly and be ready for them when we catch up to them. Which should be soon, if I understood Stoopid Cat's message properly.

LAM, Nads Kicker Lass was PE Lad's sister. They were baddies that the LMBP faced in one of the early tag team stories. Vee was instrumental in defeating them and so they are considered arch enemies of his.

I think it was in the "Super Jailhouse of Space" tag team thread but I'm not certain. Cobie's history & timeline of the LMBP could tell you for sure.

six more scuttle towards Queen Connie. Whilst a large number advance on Stoopid Cat.

Claws extended, Connie begins slashing away at the now hundred of swollen white bodies that clog the area around them. Each swipe pierces dozens of bodies and sends them flying, never to stand again. But for every one she takes out 3 others seem to take their place.

* IB, go for help! Warn the humans! Legion World is under invasion. The Super Pets will do what we can here. Hurry! Kid Marvel Bunny, now would be a good time to use those big feet of yours to stomp these evil creatures! Calamity Monkey, keep an eye out above us, Don't let them control the ceiling and drop down on us!

With a roar of pure pleasure Hrun attacks.

Swinging his axe he despatches dozens of the creatures with each swing. Still they come.

Diving towards Calamity Monkey Hrun uses his shield as an offensive weapon as well. REaching the frozen monkey he faces a dilema.

After only a moments hesitation Hrun throws his axe down so he can lift the prone creature. Protecting Calamity Monkey with the shield Hrun tries to remove the ticks.

Two come away cleanly, but one has its head buried too deep.

Hrun stands and realises he now surrounded and cut off from the other super pets.

Mrroooowww!

*Hrun! Frio can freeze it off, don't worry about getting them all off! Move towrds the door and open a path for the others! I'll do the same!

Slash, swipe, slassh, slash, swipe!

Hrun looks and realises he will never make it. Measuring the distance between safty at the door and himself.

He winds up his arms and......

Throws Calamity Monkey to safety.


Diving immediately afterwards for his axe Hrun is too slow.

Choking with emotion Connie see's Hrun fall beneathe a wave of Lune-i-ticks. He last words echo through the cave.

"Connie, get the pets out of here, warn the others"

****ROAR****

Stoopid Cat (in Tiger God Avitar Form) reaches down and Snags Hrun and his axe out of the pile of ticks.

Within seconds the two former enemies, now fighting back to back, have cleared a path through the barrage of Lun-I-Ticks.

*Thank the catgods! Quickly, everyone out the door and into the tunnel. Keep your eyes open and head back to the HQ. We must get word of this the the LMBP and help staunch this invasion!

Hrun, are you okay? Are you well enough to guard our retreat along with Stoopid Cat?

I'll take point and lead us out.

Hrun fights beside him, his axe cutting down tick after tick, but still they come, some now running on the ceiling out of reach.

Hrun is slowing down, his bereathing is laboured.


Stoopid cat looks at him,

"Hrumph are you you OK" sounding almost concerned.

Hrun turns and SC sees the tick buried deep in Hruns side.

"I fear not whizzy"

"here mother let me help"

"Mr Mistoffelees sing for me"

SC stares at Hrun in that way that Cats can

Poor Hrumph, we have to get out of here, look lean on me together we can get away"
