Do not read comics when you have been drinking, they make absolutly no sense, especially when you can't read what is written. Dragged my housemate to the comic shop today, bought some back dated comics, got home, started drinking (friends birthday), then thought I would read a comic, OMG, not possible. I got totally lost. Drinking and reading, not a good combination. And typing is no good too, this took half an hour Is there any cure? Anyone had a similar problem???
I might live on the butt end of the world, but I get to see the days before anyone else.... mwaahahahahahaha

There's no cure and no avoiding it when the situation arises. Sometimes you just have to post to Legion World after you've been drinking! Like right now!

I've tried it a time or two, it can be a fun exercise is digital manipulation. It also shows the best reason you can think of not to drink and drive.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!

Mayavale prefers to read comics after smoking the sacred pipe of Loolakanda. Then Mayavale likes to watch as the drawings leap up from the page and dance around.

An important lesson I've learned this week. Do not fill out NCAA Tournament Brackets while drunk! If you do you end up doing silly things like picking Syracuse and Kansas to make it out of the first round and Wake Forest to make your Final Four...

At least Lou has an excuse.
Anyway, at least comics have cool pictures to look at when you're drunk. I once tried reading the Illuminatus Trilogy novels after I'd had a few. Some bits actually made more sense that way.

Try watching any Muppets film when really, really drunk. Muppet Treasure Island and Muppet Christmas Carol especially. I mean, they're trippy enough as it is but when you're drunk and watching a film with Michael Caine and skate dancing penguins doing a musical number with singing fruit and vegetables then you know you've had too much to drunk.
The worrying thing is when you watch it when you're sober it's like *still* being drunk.
Oh, and I tried to read an issue of Lucifer when drunk once. Ooooh....

heh heh I'd tried watching the old Pink Floyd movie The Wall a long time ago and it was just so wierd I kept losing track of the story. As it turned out (a few years later) I saw it after a hard night out clubbing and (being drunk as a lord) found it perfectly wonderful. Very wierd.

last week I tried watching The Chronicles of Riddick, again slightly pickled, and it was sooooo much better than the first time I watched it. Just loved the graphics.
Although with some of the fight scenes they did move a little tooooo fast.

My college roomates and I would purposely watch Halloween 1 after long hours of consuming vodka and jungle juice (and some of us would take good ol' mushrooms), and then afterwards would listen to the Doors "The End" over and over again.
By the end of the night (re: morning) we were positive we are at the beginning of armaggedeon and would try to make peace with ourselves, each other and take comfort in knowing the final hours were approaching. Then I would wake up hours later and feel really, really weird.
