It must be the end stages. I like my portrait by our own MEL so much that ... well, I'm thinking of putting it on postage stamps.

Yes, if I actually am crazy enough to go ahead and order this, it'll be genuine U.S. postage. You can design and order them, too, at
PhotoStamps . For yourself or as gifts.
The company created a means of PC-generated postage several years ago, and now offers to put your scanned photo or graphic image on custom-printed stamps. (They do have guidelines and reserve the right to refuse an image ... I can bet some of you are disappointed {g})
A sheet of 20 stamps, each of them about 1 x 1.5 inches, at $7.80 face value, costs $16.95, with discounts for multiple sheets. Pricey, yes, but this is the non-mass-production age!
The part of me that was a stamp collector since the age of six, and is dormant at the moment, was awakened by this prospect. Imagine actually being on a stamp ... when you're still alive!
It's madness, I tell you! I don't think you can talk me out of this, but you're welcome to try. Or to join me. Design yours at the site and post it here!
