You and Varalent should each get your own lawyer so as to look after your own particular interests. (That's the argument they teach us in law school in order to make sure every lawyer gets employed)

Good idea, Quis. Although, I am a lawyer myself, I am reminded of the old saying that "The lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client." Varalent and I should deal at arms length in this transaction. I'll hire you and Vee can hire Rokk Steady.

Well, if I represented you, I wouldn't be representing you against Quis, as he's just my representative. In actuality, I'd be representing you against me. Anyway, the rules of professional responsibility would prohibit such a conflict of interest.

Let's just make it simple. No hard deals -- I'll just deed you an undivided one-half interest in the bar, including real and intellectual property interests with mutual right of survivorship (in case one of us bites it fighting the Dominators). You agree to watch over it while I'm not there, and vice-versa. See, it's simple when you don't let the lawyers get involved (except for me).
