Sounds like the animated Legion's origin may be close to the comics version. That's fine with me, why wreck a good thing? LightningLad SaturnGirl CosmicBoy

And that picture shows that <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Saturn Girl will finally be out of her coma.</span></span> Huzzah!

Oh, and I did get the listing for Jan. 5. They'll be showing "Message in a Bottle."

Jan. 26th episode is TBD. That is probably the Legion origin since RJ Brande is in the episode. While it is likely that Saturn Girl gets out of the coma for this episode because it is essentially an origin story from the link there. I would say it is not beyond the realm of possibility that SG isn't out of the coma for this episode (or doesn't come out of it until the very end when CB and LL (and possibly others) come back with Brande.

from the wiki Legion page: the next 4 after In the Beginning are as follows.

Trials
In Your Dreams (Dream Girl featured)
Dark Victory Part 1
Dark Victory Part 2

With the Dream Girl Episode being featured so late in the season 2 run, I wonder if the ending is going to be something adapted from a couple parts of the Great Darkness Saga.

I could see her being elected leader at the end of the episode in her feature and then the legion takes heavy losses in Dark Victory 1.

I don't remember the picture very well, but was Saturn Girl shown flying with the older soul-patched bionic-arm Garth? *I* thought it was a flashback picture, of Imra, Garth and Rokk as founders, and not a sign of modern-day Imra being back.

Dunno.

Anyone else NOT looking forward to the new spider-man show? I'm more excited for the new Legion ep by far.

I'll check Spidey's debut out but I've never ever been enthusiastic for any Marvel Cartoon. DC is the company that needs more Cartoons. Can't wait for the new episodes! Should be cool to see R.J. Brande and the Legion's origin.

Spider Man cartoon? Blah! I do not want to see Spider Man cartoon, in fact I will skip and turn off the TV until Batman comes on. That should let the Neilsen Rating know that Spider Man will get a low rating!

Me - Legion whooo whoooo - can't wait to see them in action and Batman too!

I heard that the Batman show will be turning into a Brave and Bold cartoon, teaming Batman with a different character each week.

cancel......they can't its popular, they have McDonald's toys, the batman has been on the air for a few years and well as far as i know it never got the popularity that batman the animated series had from the early 90's, also the fiftieth year of legion is coming up, it would be very odd for them to cancel the cartoon just as a hole new generation could get into it like a gateway drug, they like the cartoon, so they might want the comics,

According to the latest update I just got from the WB, our last stand-alone episode is this Saturday to be followed by the series concluding two-parter on the next two consecutive Saturdays, March 29 and April 5. Looks like they are not going to drag this out any longer.

According to my Media Center guide, it has confirmed that the last two episodes will be entitled "Dark Victory - Part 1" and "Dark Victory - Part 2". No synopsis listed yet in the guide.

From today's preview, they look like they're going to be pretty good... my one hope, though, is that we'll see the return of Ferro Lad before it's all over.

So has it been decided that the Legion will be canceled after "Dark Victory", or can we expect a season 3 in the Fall?
