My vote would have to go to "Starhaven" ... that's no world, it's a resort for crying out loud! I say "BLOW HER UP !!!"

Gosh, they already blew up the multiverse. How much bigger can they go?
Perhaps they could blow up Hypertime?
{They can't blow up Teall, because then we'd have tens of thousands of Teallan refugees booping around in their little battered hand-me-down refugee ships, like Battlestar Galactica with scale models...)

Blackest Night / Brightest Day.
I thought it was code for some bondage thing, too, at first.
Oh, that's not what you were thinking? Nevermind...

NONE OF THEM, SPROCK IT! My primary motive for quitting superhero comics was economic, but I have also grown weary of the cascade of senseless tragedies thrown in purely for shock value. I read on this board that the nassheads killed little Lian off, which is just the sort of nass I'm ranting about.

Oh, that's not what you were thinking? Nevermind... Hey, I'll tolerate much more abuse from the Big Two than I do at present if they consent to pay me the market rate for it.

As long as the industry continues to substitute fireworks for talent, no inhabited world is safe. I would rather see Vi and Yera attempt to form a viable working relationship or XS and Gates struggling to find similarities to the reboot universe. It is a good deal harder and more satisfying to write complex and believable characters than to distract readers with bright and colorful gimmicks that are the over-dramatized equivolant of slight-of-hand. I really do look forward to delving into the rich, vibrant characters that I have loved for decades.

[hugs Krypton Kid's post]
(for whatever good it does so far as the DC brass are concerned)

I said as much before Legion #1 even came out. Blowing up a homeworld is something done for shock value with no thought as to long-term consequences for storytelling. (The ultimate case of this was blowing up the Earth in V4.)
