He's alive and well in the 31st century so what exactly is the "ultimate sacrifice?"

The Superman and REBELS covers are just outstanding!

I love Lar so much and the cover is actually kind of humorous.

The female on REBELS' cover isn't a version of Stealth, is she?

Maybe, Lady Quark?
Is she still dead?
But, her being there wouldn't shock me as much as Stealth would.

Just silly guesses.

The only ones I really see are Superman and the trades (for strong Legion connections).

I might have to pick up Superman since that seems to have a lot of Legion going on, I guess it depends on how Robinson writes Mon in the first issue.

Honestly May's solits do nothing for me, which is sad. Also, what's up with the price point on the Final Crisis trades, they are all $20 but don't have that many pages (at least I don't think they do).

Also, Last Son? Worth picking up, I decided to hold out for the trade on this arc and that was so long ago I don't remember if I care...

Long Live the Legion!

I'm thinking Lydea Mallor...Actually hoping.
She and her deceased Mother, Lyrissa Mallor (who's almost sure to return as a Black Lantern) have such wasted potential.

I'm completley stoked about Robinson writing Mon-El and Mon-El getting the lead in Superman.

If it was anyone other than Robinson I would have a great deal of apprehension and fear that Mon-El is about to be broken again, right after we just got him back.

IMO, for most writers developing Mon-El's character would entail making him as much like Superman as humanly possible...

Robinson OTOH, even if he deliberately sets out to make Mon-El a Superman clone, won't succeed. He's just too quirky of a writer. I mean that's the main reason his runs on Batman and Superman have been met with mixed reaction...because they have archetypical and well established personalities and characters and the second Robinson gets on them he makes sometimes jarring and distracting alterations to their personalities without even trying to do so IMHO.

In this case I bet he's got free reign to cut loose with Mon-El...and the end result is going to be a Mon-El that's even further away from Superman, in a good way. Robinson excells at solo character driven writing(see Starman). Mon-El will wind up both more fleshed out and unique IMO. And I just don't think you could pick many better writers than Robinson for that type of task. It really is a bunch of good luck coming Mon-El's way that Robinson just happens to be available at the point in time DC is doing this with him. Mon-El will never again be thought of as a Superman clone or imitation or any sort of by the numbers typical superhero after Robinson gets done with him.

And let's not forget...he's doing something with Tellus too.

and...maybe Chameleon Boy? The solicitation mentioned that there is a spy among the Science Police....and someone being silhouetted in Omen and Origins recently that looks like Chameleon Boy's...(I am hoping for Cham than Xenofobe!!)

So, how many Legionners are in our own 21th century at the moment? I lost track of them: Star Man, Wildfire and his posse, but who else? And one of them gets LOST? hmmm

In the 21st Century are Starman working as a gravedigger, Tellus trapped at Cadmus and listed as MIA by the Legion, Infectious Lass thrown into the time stream by Earth-Man and landed in the 21stC. Polar Boy/Dawnstar/Wildfire are in the 20th Century when Luthor was a boy.

Given that it's the Guardian and the Science Police, the rescue has to be of Tellus, the one Legionnaire the Guardian has met at least twice.

Superman\'s Girl Friend, Lois Lane #33 (May 1962) - I don't have the issue, but I'm going to assume by the cover that Lana sends her there to remove her as a rival for Superman's affections.

Ok, thanks for the answers.

Tellus, long time, no see. Checked my sources over at http://www.mykey3000.com/cosmicteams/legion/index.html. Accourding to them the current continuity ended arround Legion V.3#27. So, Tellus went missing with #30. Now he is found in our century. Oh dear, so much for streaming the continuity, I still find it all confusing.

Ah Infectius Lass, I forgot about him. This is the guy who changed gender in the classic Giffen-Annual? Haha, loved Stone Boy sticking face down in the soil at the end of that issue. This was real fun. And Tenzil is still my favourite. cool

Looking at the May solis: No Legion title. Or did I miss something? Oh dear.....

Shame on any Legion Worlder who hasn't read this Mon-El appearance. Lana is corrupted by a brooch made of metal that brings out the negative traits in the wearer (remember this is the Silver Age) and sends Lois and Lori into the phantom zone. Of course Superman sorts it all out.
