hmmm High Seer's Apprencite...could it be..NURA? (Well dur obviously it is :0)
Wonders if Brainiac and Kara's love story is part of this legion's history (i hope so) because i would wonder if they'll explain why he gave her his belt, given what he said here. Then again...that particular part doesn't need to have happend to this legion..after all we're not in Pre-Crisis anymore.
Bring back the super-cousins

This is interesting. The cover showing on the Source preview is a reworked version of the cover to #6 as shown in the March previews (see March previews thread for that image) - only Colossal Boy has replaced Star Boy, Invisible Kid has replaced Lightning Lad, and Lightning Lad has taken Ultra Boy's place.

I love the art. It's so clean and bright and detailed and beautiful. sigh
I wonder if they'll show Brainy joining the Legion and if they'll somehow include Supergirl?
A singin' and a dancin' along the way.

I liked the issue somewhat, but it was a little drawn out for my tastes. I'm not digging the "joined off-panel" bits though. I understand this is to play up the political intrigue aspects, but those parts just aren't that interesting. Lyle's using his reboot costume, which is... odd. Also, if Brande formed the Legion partly as a place for Reep, you'd think there'd be some focus on him, or at least some dialogue. Tinya continues to be the best part and I like her friendship with brainy, which I don't think we've seen before. I hope it gets added to the "Current" time. Anything that gets Tinya with people other than Jo and Shady all the time is great in my books.

I'm really liking this "new" Legion. I love the costumes and actually would prefer this Legion to the main title.

Again, love the art in this but the story's not doing anything for me at all.
Wild guess at the villain: Meglaro. Mind control plus (very loose) connection to the 4th dimension could tie together both the Brande assassination and the invasion from Bgztl's dimension.

I like the art a lot but the faces are kind of sharp and pointy sometimes. Wish they'd spell Bgztl right. I agree that all the political "intrigue" is not all that intriguing. More Legionnaires, less politicos please. Don't talk about the high seer's apprentice, show her to us!

Lots to like about issue #4:
The interactions between Circadia Sensius and Querl were great. The beginnings of a working partnership and friendship. Nice.
Tinya's personality is fun. Yay!
Seeing the team in action all together was great. Colossal Boy came across as powerful. Lots of good comic book sound effects. Thoom. Wham. Krackoom. Krackle.
The final panel was promising. It's not likely that we will see Tinya's idea come to fruition in this mini, but the seed is planted.
Beauty's where you find it. Not just where you bump and grind it.

It's so refreshing to see Colossal Boy in his original colors again! He's been wearing red and blue for 40 years. Time for a change! Love the new rendition of his old costume too.

Has the SP Chief been named? Doesn't seem to be Wilson or Hagbard--perhaps Loring? Looks as if the cousin Doyle character has been completely eliminated--unless he turns out to be the aforementioned SP Chief...

I love how instrumental Tinya has been even if she wasn't a charter member. I also love the revelation that she is unique among her race.

As usual Tinya stole the show this issue.

I thought this was the best issue yet. With the first three, I felt they were rather lame. But this one I really enjoyed, maybe because the Legion got some strength in numbers.
Still think that Batistas art makes the Legionnaires look way too skinny, though.
