I have a question as to when the events in Countdown are taking place. Here we see Karate Kid being held prisoner and Starman still being craz and a member of the JSA. So is this taking place before or after the events currently taking place in the JSA/JLA crossovers.

So basically the last two years of DC will have been real time? When does Tim Drake graduate from high school? Should be soon. It doesn't affect the older characters but the teen titans aged two years? Shouldn't they look/act different?

At this point Superboy Prime is just gyrating his hips on reality.*

It's pretty obvious based on the conversations that Val's Countdown appearances take place during JLA #8, before he is "awakened."

Val is the ultimate-asskicking super-hero! That image reminds me why he's one of my favorite Legionnaires!

I hope this doesn't mean that Karate Kid might be joining the Justice League. Not that I mind the idea of it, exactly, it's more that I don't think that he would get a fair deal in it.
Realistically, Val should be able to mop up the floor with Batman. Val knows far more fighting styles than Batman does. However, no physical combatant will ever be allowed to be Batman's better. So, if they were both in the League at the same time, Val would never be shown to be all that he truly is.
It's different with characters like Superman, who can share the stage will others like Martian Manhunter. Batman has become, over the years, the uber-hero. They have put him up on the pedestal of being able to best anyone else in combat, even characters like Superman who should realistically be able to snap him like a twig.
So, no... I don't want Val in the League as it stands today.

I'd find it very interesting if Val Armorr became a member of the Justice League before Nightwing and Donna Troy!

Kid Q, Nightwing was a member of the JL once I think. That Black Obsidian storyline was it? He lead them.
I would love to see KK as a member!

I think it's a safe bet that Val joins the League. They've been hinting at it for awhile now.
My question is what happens to Geo-Force in all of these group pictures? Is the guy a member or not?
