Heh... man am I glad I decided on a whim to get this issue today... But the Durlan's appearance bugged me. Looking at Cham its made quite clear that his antennae are only visible when he is scanning something... This guys antennae are always present... eh gotta chalk it up to artistic preference (or that of the shapeshifter... lol its nice that incosistency can be easily explained in this case).

Or it could be that over the next 1000 years it has become a learned cultural trait to hide ones antennae when possible. Also, weren't binders to keep a Durlan for shifting form used on RJ's son? They were placed on the antennae, if this is the case it makes sense, once this technology becomes available, to hide the antennae and make this binding that much harder.

Yeah, I agree... It just bugged me, I wasn't really complaining. Heck, with all the dominator goodness going on everywhere how could I, lol.

Covering up your antenna can easily explained by changes in customs over 1000 years. Much like the evolution of table manners for instance. I just have to say that there were so many teeth in this issue. So it appears they are talking about the old Giffen Invasion event but we can we really rule out whatever is going to happen in 52. Either way I love the Dominators and their twisted science.

Hmm... I definitley don't think we can rule out 52, especially given whats going on in LSH right now. Two things: "Remember the Fiffffdeetu" and the solit for #28 "And at long last, the Dominators' link to the events of 52 is revealed!"
Just wanted to throw that out there.

Von Daggle? Sweet. I just read this. I always loved the GL Corps/mythos. I wish our Daggle was a bit more like this guy! Great issue!
