think it's Brainiac 5.... Element Lad finally appeared on the cover. so XS, Gates, Blok..never appeared.

We should have a story featuring just XS, Gates and Blok with an appearance by Element Lad, and all four featured on the cover...

I believe we ended up with Brainy (6 covers), Cos (5), with Timber Wolf & Earth-Man tied for third. Female remain noteably under-represented on the Legion covers.

Continuing the game into the New 52 Series the winner was...
A three-way tie between Brainy, Dreamy and Ultra Boy at 4 each.
What's interesting is that neither Brainy nor Dreamy appeared on any cover until #9, and then both had four in a row to round out the first dozen (The Dominator story).

How do multiple covers get counted, assuming there are at least some that get shipped at the same ratio?

Hmm, I just took the main cover in Comic Vine. I don't remember a lot of variants for LSH in the New 52, but I could just be blocking it out.
