I may actually try to pick up the Variant cover for this one.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Oh, rhino. Don't. It would just frustrate me, because I've got no display space and no cash, either. Not to harsh everyone's buzz, but T-Shirts or coffee mugs would be the more practical choice for me-- over action figures.

Not really enough (any) Legion t's.
On a non-comic's board a thread about favorite comic characters was started. The usual batman, wolverine.... but I mention Cos (thinking, Ferro Lad would be a bit difficult to explain). I was surprised how many came out of the woodwork knowing Legion.
The book sold a gazillion issues at one time. There's an untapped market out there, looking for a piece of the past and that usually means t-shirts.

I'm singing a thank-you, thank-you, BB!
Yes, a thing of beauty! I could actually live with a key-hole that is that small! And Ayla with a sleeveless design with no tights (I know, it's like her Adventure days.)
Krypto and Tellus in the same shot!
And I love Wildfire's look. That's a great 'tweek'!
Who's the gal in the blue light (water?)?
Everybody looks so good!

The variant is for ADVENTURE COMICS #8 ( On Sale March 3rd ). I'm not sure I understand why we're discussing it in this thread?

I really hope Legion of Super-Heroes #1 gets a variant (or else the one pictured in this thread is the variant) because a close-up of some Green Lantern's hand wearing an upside-down Legion ring is not my idea of a good cover!

We thought it was for the May Solicitations! How does one find the 'variant covers' at DC or other places? Is there a thread for covers and their varients or do we have to look to the solicitations threads? I wouldn't mind looking them up and placing them on a Bit's thread of their own, if it's okay. Or someone else could do it, too, of course, if they wanted.

LoSH #1 is supposed to have a 1:10 variant by Jim Lee! This is good for two reasons. 1. Jim Lee drawing the Legion! Has that ever happened? 2. 1:10 Variants are cheap, I eat 'em up.

As excited as I am for a new Legion #1, I am slightly disappointed the the cover to the first issue is not a group shot. I know this was probably done because Lanterns are hot right now, but I still wish it had been done differently.

I'm right with you there. In fact going further, I think the cover to # 1 is... well, not good.

I'm actually hoping it's a ruse like the Flash Rebirth #6 cover was. If not...to quote the Comic Book Guy - "worst cover ever!"
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Hey, they're trying to cross-market. Whatever works, I guess. At least there's plenty of online cheat sheets so I don't have to buy 10,000 other comics a year-- or else be totally lost regarding what's going on in the one I actually care about. My main problem with Lantern-mania at this point is that every time somebody mentions Sodam Yat, all I can hear in my head is that Cole Porter song...

I know.... they purposely made the cover ugly so everybody will pay the extra moola for the Jim Lee variant!!!
