That's our girl! Bouncing back (pun intended) from tragedy and ready to stomp giant robots, axe wielding psychopaths, and time travelling extra terrestrial bad guys with big teeth! Overcoming the tragedy of White Trips the girls are back in action! Questions? Answers? Rants?

That's the best screencap I could get out of the promo. At first I thought it was some unknown girl wearing a "do-rag"..and the new outfit had me convinced (at first) that there were two new girls to be introduced to in the cartoon.

I'd just like to state that I totally thought of the double D's back to back symbol for Duo Damsel. I have no proof, but I did!
That being said, I appreciate the sentiment behind another girl getting a badass makeover, even if her hair isn't as fun as it used to be. Seriously, she looks like she went and dyed her hair black like them no-good teenagers are doin' these days (cough). Recognizability is an issue. Don't tell me she's the one who's going to be the token goth now. (I remember back when everyone thought Tinya was going to be goth, judging by season one's first promo pic, heh.)

Well, lots of girls give themselves makeovers after traumatic events, and it would make sense for this makeover to have a dark, death-tinged motif. I'm just glad we're going to have an episode focusing on a female member. Take that, focus groups!

I think Duo Damsel looks awesome! It's about time there was a female legionnaire in an episode again. And Tromium, no offense, but I wouldn't bet on Duo Damsel crushing on Kell-El (*cough*Bouncingboy*cough*).

Well, she hopelessly crushed on the original Superboy before getting together with Bouncie and had something going with Conner-Superboy in the reboot. The girl definitely had a thang for the S-shield.

I believe you, but George Perez used that same idea for un update on the Cockrum design back in the late 70s. Don't know if it was actually used in a story, because she changed to the body suit costume in the early 80s. Anywho, I really dig the new look.
