Lashy's Legion film flops thread reminded me of this little gem I found on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df0Yrw7BjX0 Has anyone seen it before? The voice-acting is all kinds of bad but the animation is cute and I love that some Legion fan out there took the time to make this thing happen. I hope he/she makes another one!

Yes, the voice acting is bad (only two voice actors are credited at the end, so all of the male Legionnaires were apparently voiced by the same person, and Phantom Girl is hard to hear), but the film is still a gem. The story is taken straight out of SUPERBOY # 195 with the dialogue reproduced verbatim. The manga-style animation is not only cute but does a good job of positioning the characters and creating the illusion of movement.
A rare treat!
Thanks for sharing it, Blacula.

I have seen that one prior to it being pieced together as one toon. Still pretty good. There are also these two shorts created by the Shaws.

It takes awhile for them to download on my computer, so I'll have to check them out another time.
Do you mean the Sannings, Scott?

I do Greg. I always remember them by Shaw because of the site. I never remember their real name.

There are also these two shorts created by the Shaws.I was in email contact with them a few years back. They had been working on a Mordru adaptation, but it doesn't appear to have been completed/posted.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

I just saw the Sannings' films, and I loved them--especially the "trailer" for "Escape of the Fatal Five"!
One advantage that the YouTube offering has is that it takes on the challenge of telling a complete story, whereas the Sannings limited themselves to one scene from "The Ghost of Ferro Lad" and highlights of the Fatal Five story. But their voice work, music, and animation are spot-on.
