That's a cool picture.
Thom and Nura holding hands, aw. Lydda behind man-kini Rokk. Brainy and Kara also flying near each other.
Colossal Boy isn't often shown flying in an enlarged form. That's an interesting choice.
Neat that some gone-but-not-forgotten Legionnaires like Chemical King and Ferro Lad made an appearance as well.
Is that Invisible Lyle to the west of Dream Girl's bosums?

That cover is beautiful! It's great to get some Alex Ross Legion art again. I really like how youthful yet adult everyone looks - a good representation of the era.

I dig that it's gonna be TABLOID-SIZED! So I'll need 2: One for reading, another for hangin' on the wall.

That cover is amazing and right up there with the original work from Grell. Not a fan of Ross's coloring choices here though. Would love to see a high res wallpaper of this cover down the road.

Question - was there a time in history when Ultra Boy's logo was officially yellow?
I have been seeing it done like that so often lately, and by so many different colorists too, that I'm starting to wonder if it's not just a mis-coloring and is actually representative of an era I'm forgetting.

Back Issue is an incredible publication! It's also available in digital format -- at a cheaper rate.
I like the cover, but Ross's coloring has gotten a bit weird in the past few years. I prefer his original style.
Also, Ross being Ross -- he decided against haing both Lu's in different colors when split.

Shady's pose is indeed funktastic.
I love the detail on Star Boy's costume, too.
Wow, Projectra's got some sort of Australian crawl swimming action going on...
Ha, Jeckie's also got Legion earrings on!
Love the futuristic look of the city beneath them, even the dorky rocket-tram-tubes under Gim.
Brin's got his classic look with the upswept hair and ears and eyebrows, Violet's got her Cockrum-era costume on, Imra's in her Farrah-kini, classic!
Some of the faces seem a little too similar (Karate Kid, Cosmic Boy, Ultra Boy and Brainiac Five, for instance, seem to have the same face, in different colors), but it's a cool shot, nonetheless.

Alex Ross has always done an amazing Shady.
Can anyone post the original Grell cover for comparison?
