Hey, I know I'm not the only one who remembers that somethings were left hanging due to paul leaving the book and somethings were left a mystery. Now that he's back we can ask him to resolve those lingering plots.
The one I'm thinking of Most is the History of the Exile world where Dawny, Brainiac 5 were. And why was it declared off limits by Earthgov.
anyone else can think of any?

What happened between Magic Wars and Johns bringing back the Legion? Did the economic turmoil lead to the xenophobia on Earth?
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Here's a few from me:
- What ever happened to the Sklarians? Last we saw of them they were continuing to steal technology from other races in order to further advance themselves. - What are Salu's and Ayla's sexual orientations/relationships these days? It seems the writers might not see this as a priority, which makes sense, but still some sort of nod or something should be done at some point to clarify this long-standing subplot. Is Ayla "officially" with Brin now? - Can we have some sort of status update as to what Shvaughn Erin has been up to lately? Is Element Lad still a part of her life?
I know I have LOTS more to add but want to be fair to others who probably want to throw their two cents worth in here. Those are 3 questions just off the top of my head for the moment at least, that I'd like to see addressed in the new series. No rush though Paul! I'm enjoy how the book is unfolding so far (well ... with the exception of anything to do with that idiot Earth Man. Sorry, couldn't resist).

How did Val Armorr come back from the dead, and can you make that his power.
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.

Is Ayla "officially" with Brin now? i can answer this in part. Ayla and Salu are just friends. Paul said he never intended for them to be gay so I assume they're both hetero. As for Ayla and Brin...dont know if they're together but they've worked more closely now than since the baxter days.

I can't really contribute much to this thread, since I'm not sure if the things I consider "dangling plot threads" are just plain old reading-memory gaps-- or not.

What about the other 31st century Kryptonians, Dev-Em and Laurel Kent.

I always loved the Levitz storyline of Mon-El addressing being trapped in the phantom zone for 1000 years. But then he got over it in one issue. Seems like a story that could have been an interesting arc.

Dev-Em is listed in the continuity thread; there was a Dev-Em recently in Action Comics #851 which would rule out Dev-Em in the 31st Century unless the story was ignored or explained away.
Laurel was revealed to be a Manhunter. That story doesn't actually depend on the death of Superboy so there's no reason it couldn't still have happened. On the other hand, it was obviously done for similar reasons to killing off Superboy, so it might be out of continuity.

...or maybe the Laurel Kent that joined the Legion Academy was a Manhunter, but she was a copy of the original?
Could be interesting if there was an indestructible Laurel Kent contentedly living the life of a minor superheroine out in the boondocks somewhere who had no idea her doppelganger had ever existed...

I don't see why. The original Dev-Em was from the 20th century. We do have time travel at our disposal after all.

My theory is the "Dev-Em" is now the kryptonian equivalent of "John Smith". See also that cult leader from 52 that went by "Dev-Em".

What cult leader from 52 that went by Dev-Em? I don't know anything about him. If there is already more than one character with the name, that's something to mention. I didn't read 52.
And the reason why Action 851 seems to make Dev-Em unlikely is not that he's from our time, but that he's a serious bad guy, not a juvenile delinquent like the original Dev-Em, so having him turn good would be quite a stretch. Also, Superman doesn't seem to have heard of the name before. (Did Superman meet the 52 character?)

According to Wikipedia:
"In the aftermath of the Infinite Crisis in which Kon-El died, a man going by the name Devem is seen as part of a cult of Kryptonian worshippers in 52 #4 (May 31, 2006). He is revealed to actually be a 'psych-ward refugee named Derek Mathers who has a history of fraud.'"

I would have loved for that character to have been developed and NOT BE a manhunter. Lots of possibilities.

[/QB] I'd say what a shame they rebooted TMK, but that's opening a HUGE can of worms... Never liked Supergirl on Legion - but LOVED Laurel Gand. Probably my favorite female character along with Vi (TMK era).
