Are pore patterns really unique to each individual?

No doubt that was Jo! Who knows how many other aliases he has? I suspect the whole 70's Reflecto story is some kind of supporting evidence of this trend in a weird way (as anything associated with that story is weird).

You've got to wonder how it is that he just happened to have a picture of himself in that outfit just waiting to slip into the Legion records when needed!

The inspiration for Val's later Karate Kid collar, no doubt.

I seem to recall a post along the lines of "What if the Legion had been created at Marvel?" in which one of the suggestions was that Ultra Boy would've turned to actually be a reformed criminal, but I can't find it now.

Little known fact: all Rimborians have a prison mug shot taken of them at 16 just in case they commit a criminal act at some point - saves time later.

Have you noticed that Rann Varal is not from Rimbor but from rAmbor. Is this a different planet?

Rambor was an offshoot planet settled by the Stallonites.

And, aside from Rimbor and Rambor, RUmbor is that port in a storm where the space-pirates get all liquored up and spend their booty on a different sort of booty.

Unknown to many, the prison authorities required Rann Varal to wear a chain around his neck to prevent him from using his super-yodeling powers.

Natives of RUMbor are identified by their POUR patterns, and, well spill patterns and puke patterns, too.

While Rembor was colonized by pioneers from Timor-Leste, and Rombor by gamers from World of Warcraft.

What ever happened to the REAL Rann Varal of Rambor?

Killed by Brainiac 5 in another frame up, that didn't make sense.

The Real Rann Varal joined the Legion, after Jo really did go off to join the Space Pirates. That really is Tinya's cousin (from the LEGION/5YG Phase explanation) with him in the team, as Tinya went with Jo.

The Real Rann Varal was killed by a petty Glorith who expended vast amounts of power to come back and kill the wrong person. She was livid when she found out.

Weirdly, I was just thinking about Rann Varal earlier this week!

In order to make sure he was out of the way, Jo Nah hurled the Real Rann Varal through time in a time bubble. He ended up on an uncharted planet. He became a hero there and they named the place after him. Later, Adam Strange would travel there on Zeta Beams. Welcome to Rann!
