i find it very odd.....where are the female Legionnaires? all knocked out? Dawny, Sensor Girl, Lightning Lass and Vi are out? what about Shady, Cham Girl, Dream Girl, XS, who else? We need more female Legionnaires IN ACTION!!!!

How can I jump to conclusions based on the preview if I can't see the preview? How unreasonable is this?

Got it working for me, and some minor interesting stuff so far. Brainy definitely appears to already have a plan that will lead us to a conclusion - which is fine by me. I'm ready for a new storyline.

Wildfire has some new duds, as if his current look and original one merged. On the one hand, I like that they kept the concept of the new suit and it's not too much of a retread of his classic look. On the other hand, the top of it now looks too open and plain. Hopefully the emblem rises higher in future renditions. Love Cinar's portrayal of Gates.

The info blurbs strike again, needlessly obscuring Lightning Lad when there's space above Gates for his info. I wish the layouts on those things were tighter. We've occasionally lost out on some art, which wasn't necessary with how much free space these panels typically have for word balloons and effects.

I like Wildfire's new costume much better than his last one. I was about to rant about Gates's nameplate obscuring Lightning Lad's face, but Future beat me to it. Would it've killed them to move it over an inch to the right? Is Matt Murdock doing the layouts or what?

I really like Cinar's artwork, and yet it's kind of a comedown after Jimenez's.

Nothing. And the only 'Save Picture' it gives me anywhere on the page are the 'next' and 'previous' buttons, which do nothing for me at all.

it took me a few goes to get it to work. You have to scoll right in the centre only a quarter inch or so till you get a small rectangle highligted, then right dlick and save picture. It is fiddly but it does work.

Alternatively, right click and select show source on each page, find the name of the file (A jpeg file with dylux in the name - use Ctl F to search) and copy the name of the file into your browser and display the file direct. Messy but it works.

Nope, sorry, still nothing. There is nothing there when I try to highlight it. Only the 'next' and 'previous' show anything when highlighted. Nothing else. Not sure what the page looks like for you, but for me it is something like this:

Guess I'll just have to wait the extra coupleof days until I can get a copy.

Is this a Windows Internet Explorer issue? Did you try Firefox?

It's a Newsarama issue, I have never had problems viewing the previews on IE before.

Ordinarily I wouldn't usurp another sites' exclusive, but since people are having issues, here's the pages -

I think Jo's costume is cute. Fine. I'm weird.

A little of both. The Previewer is wonky, but Firefox is able to interpret the issue and provide most of the pages better than I.E.

Decent enough issue but with some flow problems. The Villain reveal and resolution was rushed and lacked any sort of impact. I think Paul's still adapting to the new page count.

So Dawny's new outfit is her hospital undies? Surprisingly they are less lurid looking than her actual outfit.

Paul really lets Brainy shine as interim leader. Think he's setting him up for the next election already?

And as an added bonus... another 100% Earth-Man free issue.

not good at all..read it today. To Dave's above point villian reveal from Durla seemed rushed and VERY anticlimatic as was the ending. A whole issue of nothing really...I think we are in a little bit of a slump. The annual was a let down to many and it seems like the pace is too slow. Also, I agree with the lack of female action out there. Oh well let's hope things heat up with the super villian story line.

And Keith, if your out there, we need new costumes with your creative flare now! Not the 5 year gap stuff but I would love to see Shrinking Violet in your violet and black costume around the Yera storyline arc. Wow, Giffen/Cockrum merge costume...PERFECT!

Dawnstar is out of her coma but now I'm in one.

A fight between two shape-shifting Durlans should be more interesting than this. Giant alien reptiles. Uh huh.

Thanks for the posts Nightcrawler. You know, if the glowy-energy parts of Wildfire's costume translate as 'see-thru' (and that would certainly be my take on them) then the last couple of versions of his uniform are way more revealing than the pink bikin ever was and even kinkier than the little black 'Rocky Horror' number.

Wow, is it the best idea to rip the door off of a ship full of people *in outer space* for what is essentially a traffic violation? Still, the ship didn't explosively decompress and everybody didn't die horribly, so I guess Jo knew something about 31st century spaceships that I didn't...

I was actualy just thinking what Wildfire's costume would look like if someone decided to bring back some of the original Cockrum design into the new one. Needless to say, I don't think they went far enough and not in ways I would have. I like the blue/black faceplate, but he needs the actual winged star on his torso. This new design is an awkward nod to it and looks weird on his belly. I see that the insignia is on his belt buckle, but it was actually better where Frank had it - on the front of his "collar".
